Summary: Last minute booking. Managed to get an upgrade. Half board was a good value. Parking available on street nearby, in case hotel one is full. Great view from rooftop pool. Bar prices decent. Rooms clean and good size, with balcony. Coffee machine in the room.

Summary: Had a rather mixed stay at Solana. The room was a good size and comfortable. The rooftop pool is definitely the star feature of the hotel, plenty of shade and perfect water temperature with great view. There's a bar you can get drinks and good food too. We only had breakfast but there was plenty of choice. We had a strange experience with house keeping placing a do not disturb sign on our door, then posting a "we noted the sign and didn't clean" leaflet under the door. Unfortunately it took 3 days for them to confirm this which meant we didn't have peace of mind whilst there and no explanation as to why this would happen. There also is no shampoo or conditioner so come prepared! Despite this we did manage to have a lovely stay with easy walking distance to lovely restaurants.

Summary: Had a great 3 night stay for business. Amazing facilities, happy hour and food in hotel. Only minor criticism was that they cleaned more room floor with a dirty mop and it left a wet dog smell for a day.

Summary: Overall, pretty good. We had a superior room but I wasn’t sure what was superior about it. Bathroom was nice but the furniture was a bit dated. Tiny balcony with a table and chairs but you had to move them to get on to it. I would stay there again

Summary: Great place to stay! Food options are halal, themed buffet nights and a restaurant on site. Very clean and the spa is lovely with lots of treatments to choose from. Had one of the best facials there! Rooms were a little small considering we booked studio rooms. Rooms came with a spacious bathroom and a built in kitchen. Would have like more in room services such as water bottles and an iron.

Summary: I recently stayed at this hotel, drawn by its high ratings and promising amenities. Well located on a very quiet main road. Walking distance places to visit or with Bolt taxis. While there were aspects I appreciated, some experiences fell short of expectations. Positives: The hotel boasts a refreshed and welcoming ambiance, with modern decor that creates a pleasant atmosphere. Nice spa. The staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful during check-in, the stay, questions and making the arrival process smooth. Great shower! Areas for Improvement: Despite booking a premium room, the view was underwhelming (inexistant!), overlooking a dark corner area where a workman was drilling next to the balcony. This resulted in dust accumulation, which remained uncleaned the following day. The room felt cold (thin duvet), and adjusting the temperature controls didn't seem to make a difference, affecting overall comfort. Breakfast was average; the food lacked flavor, either under or overcooked or oily. Additionally, a few morning staff members seemed disengaged, impacting the dining experience. An unpleasant odor in the reception area, seemingly emanating from the pool and spa below, was noticeable and detracted from the otherwise inviting lobby. I experienced an issue with the elevator, getting stuck and requiring assistance, which was inconvenient and concerning. The area is nice for 2-3 days then you need to go further away to enjoy the island more. 3 out of 5 stars

Summary: The Solana is a good hotel, in a great location.Staff were amazing, very helpful , they went the extra mile! On the downside, their AC only works at to a certain temperature depending on the time of year, not great as our room was warm. We also had to swap rooms after two days due to the noise from a large flume vent outside our bedroom window, the hotel were more than happy to accommodate with a new room.

Summary: A modern hotel very friendly staff on reception breakfast service cleaning staff all spoke i liked that a credit to hotel .my room was clean spacious a good shower bed comfy .i thought breakfast was excellent. Its on a bus linebus stop a few minutes away i very much enjoyed my stay thankyouas a sol traveller i was made to feel welcome.
