Solar Sanctuary is a spacious, solar-powered studio apartment set amongst beautiful magnolia trees! Located in the lovely, tree-lined and safe Chevy Chase, it is within walking distance of the UK campus, football stadium, medical center, Arboretum, and the vibrant Chevy Chase business area. Nearby is downtown Lexington, with its many restaurants and bars. The apartment has a kitchenette with no stove, but with a sink, microwave, toaster oven , and mini-fridge. Summary: This studio was absolutely wonderful. It was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt so comforting and homey. The beds were very comfortable with fresh, clean linens, and the ambient lighting and large projector TV were such nice touches. I usually have a hard time sleeping anywhere but home, but I slept incredibly well here and felt completely safe. The host was beyond accommodating, and the filtered water at the sink was an unexpected bonus. I will absolutely stay here again.
