Summary: We loved how accommodating the staff was when we wanted to check out early. They were incredibly friendly, everyone wished us a good morning. The property itself is nice, however there were a number of people just kind of lingering around with nothing much to do other than just stare at you. It is not close to anything, but food and drinks at the restaurant were affordable and they accepted various types of payment which was convenient. The pool is lackluster, but good when you need to get out of the heat. Beds were comfortable. We weren’t able to get a taxi to the airport, but did manage to talk down the price of a buggy which we rented for the day and dropped off at the airport. FYI - there is no airport transfer as mentioned on Expedia. The island itself is lacking resources and is very poor, we kept our wits about us when we went out and didn’t run into any problems.

Summary: It was clean and quiet. It is far from downtown, so you must pay for expensive car rides to the hotel. There are no restaurants around, so you have to buy the food at the resort. The food was good but it is expensive compared to what you can get downtown. The staff is super nice and helpful, and many of them speak English and Spanish.
