Summary: We used the Klabhouse to explore south Sicily. It was refreshing to wake up to the view overlooking the ocean. The only negative features of the were that the ocean water temperature was surprisingly cold for July and the mosquitos were bad at night. Without air conditioning, we left the windows open to cool off the house get a breeze through the house and so we had to take a bath in mosquito repellent to avoid getting bitten all night.

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely beach home in Lumia. It was the perfect quiet escape in an otherwise very busy August season near Sciacca. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat close to the refreshing beach you will love this little cove. If you are looking for lively nightlife and a crowded "party" beach, Lumia is not for you. There are no bar cafes here yet and therefore Lumia does not attract too many walk on beach goers. The lack of traffic made it extremely easy to ride into Sciacca center for a daily coffee or to get groceries or visit the Piazza. The property manager was VERY responsive and helpful even during our stay. The apartment does not have AC which would have been lovely during a few days of our trip since Sicily was having a heat wave. Once those unusually hot days passed we were quite comfortable. We would highly recommend this home. Great value for the money!
