Summary: We had an wonderful stay at Laurence’s house. The location is fantastic – views of the mountains, amazing sunsets and a lovely local town. Having a nearby cafe for a morning coffee and a couple of small food stores all within walking distance was very handy. There is also a nice restaurant in town for dinner to enjoy the sunset if you don’t want to worry about driving afterward. The house itself was very comfortable, with everything you might want – a barbecue, outdoor shower, fully stocked kitchen etc. We loved the fact that it is such a private and quiet house, no road noise at all, so you can really rest and unwind. Because of the position of the house, it does get a lot of the afternoon sun, so it becomes very warm in the late afternoon and early evening (there isn’t air-conditioning but fans are available). But this is a perfect time of day to be down at one of the lovely beaches and then enjoying dinner anyway. We loved the town of Porto Pollo – some nice restaurants, relaxed family friendly beaches and easy to get to from Sollacaro. We also really enjoyed Campomoro which is a longer trip but a beautiful coastal drive – also family friendly. Cupabia which is a fantastic sandy beach with a cute beach café we loved too. Plenty to discover! Thank you to Laurence for being an excellent host - always available to answer our questions and offer suggestions. We would love to come back and stay here again soon!

Summary: This was the first time we've stayed here and really felt like we experienced the true sense of Corsica in this location. We loved the amazing beaches and we'll certainly be back. Highly recommended, thank you Laurence!

Summary: We have very much enjoyed our stay in this wonderful loft-like house. The view over the valley is phenomenal, and even though it's not directly next to the sea, a variety of beaches can be reached within 20' by car (Olmeto and Cubabia are highly recommended!). Sollacaro, the nearby village and its two small shops, can be reached in 5-10' on foot. The house itself is simple, and yet luxurious – it's nicely furnished, with modern art on the walls, and the house comes with an extensive music and (francophone) literature library that we happily made use of. The rosemary bushes just outside the terrace did not only make for nice cooking ingredients, but also supplied the air with its fragrant smell. All in all, we just loved it.
