Summary: Good breakfast, nicely updated decor, comfortable furnishings, beautiful views. Some of the rooms only have smaller double beds, so we recommend booking a twin/king room.

Summary: Overall the stay was excellent. The room was clean and relatively spacious. One small negative related to the bathroom - the fixed head shower was difficult to manipulate due to high position on the wall and as such must prove awkward for some guests to adjust. Food was excellent but some of the staff at breakfast were too quick to remove plates from the table when not everyone had finished eating. The location provided a stunning view across the bay both during the day and also at night when it was lit up. For a quiet stay in St Aubin, I would recommend this hotel.

Summary: We stayed at The Somerville for a short break away and would definitely return. We had dinner at Tides restaurant on our first evening and it was superb. Breakfast was also lovely each morning. We enjoyed several drinks in the hotel’s Voyager bar which also didn’t disappoint. The staff we interacted with were all extremely professional and efficient. We enjoyed the outdoor pool area during our stay. Sunloungers were very comfortable. The pool was very cold (not sure if it is heated) but I enjoyed a refreshing swim. Perhaps the area around the pool could be a little tidier in terms of clearing the patio areas of accumulated fallen leaves etc. Worth noting also is that the rooms do not have air conditioning and ours was extremely warm. A fan is provided in the room however. We had booked a standard double room on this occasion which was too small/cramped. Next time we would definitely book a larger room.

Summary: A wonderful hotel. We stayed for 5 nights and everything was superb. The staff are attentive and friendly. Our room was clean and what we expected. All in all a lovely hotel

Summary: After living in st aubin for over 20 years, this hotel has the best location in the island with many dining options at the hotel and village. The hill is a little steep. Somerville staff were very welcoming and it has an old world charm of an English country hotel. The rooms need a little modernizing but I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to jersey.
