Summary: The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful but did not direct us toward the elevators/rooms, so we accidentally walked to the restaurant instead of the elevators with luggage. Since we were only one floor up, when coming back down to the lobby, we took the stairs and then staff claimed stairs are for staff only??? Since we’re traveling with kids, the pool is important to us but found out the next morning the pool doesn’t open on weekdays until late afternoon! So far not a great experience compared to our frequent Marriott or Hilton stays

Summary: From check-in to check-out, I was very pleased with my entire experience, and would recommend the Sonesta White Plains to anyone visiting this very nice and quaint city. The overall ambience of the entrance, lobby bar, restaurant, and pool, were clean, contemporary, and classy. My room was perfect for my short stay and I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Summary: The most comfortable beds ever, great staff. We arrived a bit early and we were able to check in no problem. They really explain all charges and options. And it smells SO good in that hotel! Idk what the smell is exactly but it's such a lovely touch when walking through the common spaces. The garage access couldn't be easier. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the city.

Summary: My family booked this hotel for a one night “staycation” to have dinner and swim. We arrived on a Thursday evening. The very small pool was taken over by a kids swim instructing company and their multiple clients/parents from the time we checked in at 4 o’clock to the pool closing time of 7pm. We never got to use the pool, which was the whole purpose of our stay.
