Positive: The villa was very comfy and surroundings were beautiful. Spa bath very large.
Negative: The noise from the fountain pump from the pond was extremely loud an ruined our arrival an next few hours. Was told it was on a timer an unable to be changed. Not acceptable for a rainforest retreat. Fireplace was gas not wood as website stated another fail.

Positive: Location is great, in the rainforest. The staff were very friendly. The animals were a treat to go and visit as they were friendly too. Lots of wildlife around the property.
Negative: The property is a bit dated and villas need some maintenance. The restaurant is no longer the Gold Coast icon that it was, now very basic and limited menu. I would have gone elsewhere for dinner had I known prior to booking.
Summary: Nice for a short stay but could definitely use some improvements.

Positive: The spa bath outside on the deck amongst the rainforest was tranquil... Loved it, even in winter. Cosy and homey feel, indoor fireplace was beautiful, nice big shower with multi-heads. Lots of wildlife and friendly pademelons
Negative: The little bottles of water in the fridge need to be paid for, they're not complimentary. The glass panels next to the outdoor spa need a good clean, so you can see properly into nature
