Positive: The views from the room, the terrace, the food at dinner, mattress was comfortable
Negative: Lack of privacy from the junior suite room as facing directly the pool with people able to see inside the room from their lounge. Whilst the location has amazing view the hotel is on a road so there is some traffic noise at times. Food at dinner was delicious whilst breakfast I think could have more cooked option given the price point of the hotel. Dogs are tolerated more than welcome - there is a charge of Eur 28 but nothing is provided not even a bowl for water. Luckily we had our own pillows as the one provided were paper thin.
Summary: Comfortable stay but better options around for quality/price point

Positive: An Unforgettable Stay in the Dolomites! Sonus Alpis is an absolute gem and truly one of the most magical places we have ever stayed. The location is incredible surrounded by insane scenery that didn’t even feel real. Everywhere you look, it’s just breathtaking beauty. The atmosphere is super peaceful, making it the perfect escape. We felt so happy and relaxed here from the moment we arrived and didn’t want to leave. The amenities were incredible, and the view from the pool was an absolute dream soaking in the mountains while swimming was an experience we’ll never forget. The breakfast buffet was hands down the best we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We also decided to have dinner at the hotel one evening, and it completely exceeded our expectations so clean, so fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff were so beautiful and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed and making us feel so welcome. Sonus Alpis is truly a slice of heaven. We left feeling completely recharged and cannot wait to come back!

Positive: I will start by mentioning that the hotel is situated in a stunning location with a view of Mount Pez, not far from the picturesque village of Casterollo. From the moment you arrive, you feel truly pampered. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a drink and snacks, while luggage is promptly taken to your room. The welcome pack includes trekking maps of the area and bus tickets. The hotel offers excellent amenities, including several saunas, one of which is a beautiful bio sauna with a mountain view and a pool. There is also a well-equipped gym. The breakfasts are delicious, featuring local products and a wide variety of dishes and snacks. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Florian, who made our stay enjoyable with his kindness and attentiveness. Late check-out is available for an additional fee. There is parking on-site, with half of the spaces covered. An unusual and wonderful feature is the chill-out room, where guests can listen to classical music through headphones while lounging on recliners in bathrobes, enjoying views of the surrounding fields. This hotel is a great starting point for hiking trips in the Aple di Siusi region, and St. Madallena, with its iconic views and the Odle/Geisler massif, is just a 30-minute drive away.
Negative: We were a bit surprised to find that the hotel consists of two parts: the traditional older section, reminiscent of a typical Tyrolean gasthof, and the newly added wing, which is featured in the booking photos. It might be beneficial to consider updating the visual representations of the older section, as the rooms differ from what is shown online. Additionally, since this part is closer to the street, some rooms (especially Room 17- see pics) can be quite noisy with the windows open. Given that there is no air conditioning, summer stays could be challenging, as guests may need to open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air. In contrast, the rooms in the new section match the booking photos perfectly. They are very clean and cozy. However, it's worth noting that the entire property is close to a local road, which can lead to some noise during the week while lounging on the recliners, although the weekends tend to be quieter.
