Positive: This is a newly renovated Homestay hotel. Great value for money. It is situated about 15min & 5min walk to Seoul Station & Hoehyeon Metro respectively. Namdaemun Market is a 10 mins walk. The lady host, SHU, was helpful, friendly, hospitable & pleasant. The house has a beautiful kitchen with a nice table in the centre. Avail 24/7. Unlimited coffee & tea. The fridge has chilled barley tea & filtered water prepared by the host. SHU comes to the house usually around 11am & leaves by 11pm. She is contactable via WhatsApp, email or her mobile.

Negative: The house is situated on high grounds. So you may have to walk up or down the slope depending which direction you are approaching the house esp when you arrive with big baggages. Take a taxi there when you arrive. No issues when you go out after check-in. Good exercise. If you want to take the Airport Limo bus there are 2 available (#6702 and #6015). Both buses are within a 10mins walk. Be prepared to go up or down the stairs when you are in Korea.

Summary: Great value for money. Good location. Newly renovated homestay. Clean & tidy house. Great Host.

Positive: Great location 1 metro stop from Myeoungdong so much more local vibes and more affordable. Easy access to metro. buses and Seoul station. Lots of options for food and drink nearby. Room is extremely comfortable with a balcony perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring. Great hot water and soft sweet smelling towels and bedding which can be rare in Seoul. Shu also sent extremely helpful details to help find the property which was much appreciated after a long day travelling. Room was cleaned every day and Shu and her husband always had time for a chat and to share local knowledge. I honestly felt like i was staying with friends and I was sad to leave SoSi and Seoul.

Negative: Nothing to dislike.

Summary: I loved my time in Seoul and a big part of that was the hospitality shown by Shu and her family.

Positive: The best place to stay in Seoul! First of all, I would like to mention the host — she is incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. She surrounded us with such warmth that it truly felt like we now have relatives in Seoul. The location is excellent: very close to the metro, with easy walking distance both to Seoul Station and to the Myeongdong area. The room exceeded expectations: towels were changed every day, always fresh and with a delicate scent. Special attention to the bed linen — perfectly white, thick, and high-quality, just like in a five-star hotel. Overall, this is the best place to stay in Seoul, and I would definitely love to come back again.

From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome that we immediately felt at ease. The owners are a friendly couple who go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and well-taken care of. The guesthouse itself has a lovely, homely atmosphere. Our room was incredibly comfortable and spotless, providing a perfect sanctuary after a long day of exploring. We also really appreciated the kitchen facilities, which were very convenient. The location is absolutely unbeatable: • Very well located: Situated right near a vibrant local market and the subway station, making navigation a breeze. • Walkable: It is within easy walking distance to Myeongdong, allowing us to enjoy the shopping and street food without needing a taxi. Positive: The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Simple and efficient with plenty of hooks to hang clothing. The location was a short walk from metro and bus stations. Shu and the other staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Seoul.
