The space
The farmhouse is situated on an ex 100yo dairy in a secluded subtropical coastal valley, & with its rich history spanning three generations of dairy farming, you'll be transported back in time to a bygone era. The historic farmhouse is a work of art, fun, funky and with every detail carefully curated to create a rustic, stylish and relaxing space. There are four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (which incs the luxe outhouse bathroom), so there's plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious country meal, and the living room and fireplace is perfect for curling up with a good book or watching a movie. The property is a coastal farm surrounded by lush rainforests, national parks, waterfalls, and pristine beaches (inc an award-winning beach).
Guest access
Bond with our furry friends on the farm, the miniature belt galloway cows Socks & Boots (known as Oreo cows in the US), and our horses Bud & Roman. The kids will create lifelong memories and experiences as they hand feed them BYO carrots. Further, In addition to the farmhouse, guests have private use of the luxe outdoor entertaining cabana, the spring-fed swimming water lily pond. The luxe cabana is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the morning birdsong & afternoon sunset views, and it comes equipped with an outdoor kitchen, dining area, and lounge space. The swimming pond is surrounded by lush vegetation, so you can soak up the sun and cool off in the refreshing water.

Summary: We visited Dave and Beth’s SOULitude Farm stays over the summer break and we could not have a better and more relaxing time. Dave and Beth are extremely welcoming and gracious hosts and showed us around the property and the animals. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We spent many evenings just taking in the outdoors and interacting with the animals from the lovely decked area. Our toddler especially loved Boots and Socks and our dog has had the time of her life sniffing around the property. We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you

Summary: An unbelievable property that we hope to return to every year. We got to reconnect with some old friends in the most beautiful environment. The board games were such a great touch as well. Cannot recommend this property enough and David and Beth as hosts were phenomenal!

Dave and Beth were amazing hosts, friendly and helpful in educating the kids about the animals, then stepped back and gave us peace to enjoy. Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. The place had everything we could have wanted and such a beautiful, green outlook. The kids had a ball, and was close to visit friends for a day trip in Port. Would highly recommend!

Summary: Family of five, we stayed for 10 nights in this oasis for the soul. We used it as a base to explore as many of the interests in the region up and down the coast and inland as we could, snorkelling, beaches, bush walks, coastal walks, waterfialls, fishing etc etc etc. We also managed a quiet few days just hanging about in the local area. Waking up to the wallabies and birdsong, coffee in the cabana and bbq's (and more wallabies), feeding the cows and horses carrots in the evening, this was the best break we have had in a long time. The farmhouse is thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and beautifully decorated throughout. The owners were lovely and could not have been more helpful with any little bits of advice or needs we had, while giving us all the privacy and space you'd expect from a place named Soulitude. We loved it and would love to return.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Soulitude. The property is very relaxing with everything you need. Hosts were very warm and welcoming and we had a fabulous dinner at the Friday night pop-up restaurant in the local village of Hannam Vale. We only stayed 2 nights but next time will stay longer as we did not have enough time to enjoy everything this property has to offer. Also note when we booked the listing said BYO linen but all linen is provided so no need to bring anything.

Summary: What an amazing experience! Words and pictures can’t adequately capture the experience we had at Beth and Dave’s amazing property. Firstly, Beth and Dave themselves are the perfect hosts as they have invested so much into this property and go above and beyond to make sure that the stay is perfect. Always on hand if needed, but they also gave us space and privacy to enjoy the property for ourselves. It was the little touches that made all the difference like taking the kids for a horse ride in the paddock, arriving with a soccer ball at the perfect time, lots of local knowledge and tips, and just genuinely lovely people to interact with. The cottage itself is perfect. Very clean, with plenty of games, books, and country charm. 4 lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms including an amazing separate bathroom in the garden with a claw foot bathtub, large overhead rain shower and luxury amenities. Just heaven! Then there is the location. Only a short 20min drive off the freeway, but it is a completely different world. Surrounded by undulating hills, lush green valleys, still operating dairies, and pristine nature everywhere you look. Kangaroos/wallabies are outside your bedroom window in the morning, our evening dinner in the gazebo was spent with a couple of Kookaburras perched on the branch behind us as well as Rosellas, Gallahs and Magpies providing the perfect ambience and background music for dinner. The only downside was that we only booked 2 nights here to break up a long road trip. We won’t make that mistake again and will definitely stay for longer next time!
