Located in beautiful Chester, Nova Scotia, this large house is central to everything the South Shore has to offer. Just minutes from downtown Chester Village, there are lots of activities for people of all ages including restaurants/cafes, beaches, yacht club, golf, the unique Lido saltwater pool & much more!
Secluded from neighbours, this large, private property is perfect for friends or families looking to get away & enjoy the best NS has to offer with old Chester charm & modern touches.
The space:
The house itself is a two-story, century old house that holds all the charm of a traditional Chester home featuring beautiful wood floors and original staircase but updated to include new appliances and modern touches. The large front and back yards are perfect for picnics, fires, or games. The top floor houses a large, full bathroom along with 3 full bedrooms, all bright with natural light from many large windows.
The bottom floor features a 2-piece bath and 3 common room spaces for dining, relaxing, or playing any of the many board games provided. The kitchen is well equipped and is also where you’ll find a new washer and dryer available for guest use. The ground floor and main entrance is also where you’ll find the hidden gem of the house, the beautiful sunroom spanning the width of the house and providing the perfect place for morning coffee, kid colouring, or a quiet place to curl up with a book.
With 3 full bedrooms, this house will easily sleep up to 6, comfortably up to 8 with a new pullout couch, and in a pinch could less comfortably sleep up to 9 with the help of a (very) firm futon.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the South Shore Oasis. David thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and at home. The house has a very well appointed kitchen, gas BBQ, portable fans in many rooms, plenty of bath and beach towels and games for kids. He also spoiled our dog with treats and his own bed. The property is located on the main road to Chester, centrally located for day excursions to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove.
