Positive: Laura the owner was upstanding! She was personable and helpful. There were no hidden fees. Everything was up front and honest.
Negative: My opinion for the start of the off season, the prices were a little high for the area.

Positive: Close to the beach Netflix available In the centre of Laborie Nice and very helpful staff Nice terrace Three a/c in the room Welcome gift
Negative: The location is wrong, it is not beachfront, but still very close to the beach. However, it took us almost an hour to find it. Dead cockroach under my bed. It is difficult to lock and unlock doors, but you will find how to :D

Positive: Laura is an excellent host, both friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is located in the middle of the town putting everything in convenient walking distance, both the beach and several restaurants and bars. The breakfast was also really good, both tasty and filling.
Negative: Not a big deal but we didn't have a door between the bathroom and the rest of the apartment.

Positive: We liked: - The wonderful, responsive, helpful owner, Laura,* and her staff, - The delicious home-cooked breakfast Laura delivered to us, - The complimentary bottles of water & local beer that welcomed us in the room fridge, - The clean and bright, secure 2nd floor 1-bedroom apartment with shared balcony with lounge chairs, - The excellent mini-split A.C. unit & wifi service, flat screen tv and wall outlet adaptor, thanks (I forgot mine), - The water view & walking distance to beach & town pier (for any hired boat service). *Including Laura finding us Shem's Taxi to help us explore the island (after we over-estimated our ability to handle local driving on the opposite side of the road from the US on the narrow, windy/steep roads!). Shem is a stellar taxi driver/tour guide who took us around to many beautiful places we'd never have found on our own!
Negative: #1: The apartment was VERY clean & economical! It had dishes for 2 people but minimal cooking supplies (1 small pan, a few utensils, no cutting board, no toaster). Only 3 clothes hangers in closet. No interior doors (customary on St. Lucia, maybe?, but a 1st for us: no bathroom door or bedroom door). No comfortable chairs for sitting (just 2 high rattan stools for the hightop table). A few more supplies & furnishings would be helpful. #2: Being a warm Caribbean island climate, people are naturally outside much of the time but also play loud music a lot. We had heard that Laborie was a quiet town but the guesthouse is in the center of town and there was often loud music playing in multiple locations, also part of the culture & fun for many but more noisy than we had hoped. Laura kindly asked the folks at the restaurant across the street to lower their music volume in the evenings, which helped but there was still often music playing elsewhere. Not an issue for younger travelers, most likely(!).
Summary: Clean, bright 2nd floor waterview apartment offers great breakfasts & a short walk to the beach!

Positive: The host was a very personable lady, willing to engage with all members of our party. She was very accommodating, friendly and professional. The property was very clean and comfortable with acceptable amenities.
Negative: Nothing stood out as unlikeable.
Summary: A great overnight stay, we had no complaints. Our host accommodated all our requests. We would consider staying again.
