About 30 minutes from Bowral & Robertson, our newly renovated and comfortably furnished two bedroom cottage has a prime position overlooking the 7th fairway of the Kangaroo Valley Golf & Country Resort. With spectacular views towards the towering cliffs of the escarpment and over the lake on the course, Blue Gums Cottage offers a unique escape. It will appeal both to golfers looking to step directly onto the fairway or those just after a beautiful and tranquil spot to re-charge the batteries.
As an added bonus enjoy the resort facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts and golf facilities, all part of the property's majestic 80 acres of natural bushland. The views down the valley from the property will simply take your breath away and in winter the early morning mists will re-vitalize and invigorate your senses.
We can accommodate up to 6 persons with bedding comprising Q/S in both main and second bedroom, where there are also 2 additional bunks. Kitchen is newly renovated and fully equipped, including dishwasher, new oven, cooktop & Nespresso coffee machine and the living room is open plan leading onto the large deck with its expansive views. The cabin has split-system air-conditioning for comfort in all climates. Bathroom is brand spanking new.
There is everything you will need at Blue Gums plus those little extra touches of comfort, that will make your stay as a couple, family or small group of friends that little extra bit special.
Blue Gums Cottage is a privately owned property on the resort where you book directly with the owners so we can guarantee you personal and speedy attention to all your inquiries and the highest level of comfort and facilities when you visit.
Kangaroo Valley
Kangaroo Valley is a picturesque, National Trust classified village, located 2 hours south of Sydney via the Princes Highway and Berry or inland via the M5 and Mittagong / Bowral. It is nestled between the mountain escarpments of the South Coast and Southern Highlands. A uniquely beautiful part of the state, the area is characterised by a patchwork of farms, rainforest, rivers and waterfalls. The valley is almost entirely surrounded by sheer sandstone cliffs. The village offers a treat of craft shops, good food and quaint tea rooms.
Blue Gums Cottage is located on the Kangaroo Valley Golf Course, 3kms from the village along the Mt Scanzi Road.

Whether you are after more active pursuits such as golf at your front door, tennis, canoeing, swimming, bush-walking or simply want to take it easy with a good book and nice company, Blue Gums at the Kangaroo Valley Country Club can offer you the very best. You can eat-in, enjoy a BBQ in the park-like grounds, drop by the golf club restaurant or take the short drive into Kangaroo Valley to enjoy any of the villages very fine restaurants or quaint country pub.
The pristine beaches of Jervis Bay are just a 30-40 minutes drive or you have the resort pool and tennis courts at your door step. The Yarrawa and Camberwarra wineries are at your doorstep.
WE ACCEPT MINIMUM 5 NIGHT BOOKINGS BETWEEN 22 DEC 2022 & 8 JAN 2023. We are unable to accept bookings where arrivals or departures are on Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve or New years Day, but can book blocks of dates which include these days. This is due to the difficulty of obtaining cleaning staff at this very busy time for changeovers on these days. During the EASTER HOLIDAY PERIOD & PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKENDS we accept MIN 3 NIGHT STAYS and at other times there is a 2 NIGHT MIN STAY.

Summary: Phil and Loretta have a real gem here. It’s a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with 2 queen beds and a set of spacious bunk beds. The bathroom and kitchen look like they have just been renovated. Whilst the house may not have an internet connection, there is still plenty to do. They have provided an ample amount of board games and movies or why not just step out onto the spacious deck with bbq and just relax looking at the amazing view of the golf course and wider valley. The golf course itself is almost a resort style with pool, 2 tennis courts, playground, giant chess and volleyball. I couldn’t recommend this more.

Summary: Well equipped and maintained cabin amongst trees on the edge of the golf greens - shared with mobs of kangaroos, waddling wombats and water birds at dusk each day. A stone’s throw from Kangaroo Valley shops and eateries. Hosts had thought of everything and it was a great stress release. Very highly recommended

Summary: Our stay at Blue Gums Cottage was nothing short of perfect. The cabin is really lovely and was perfect for our group (two couples). It is quite possibly one of the cleanest holiday properties we have EVER stayed in. It had everything we needed and was well located. Check-in was super easy.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this stylish space. The cottage has a well appointed kitchen with all the equipment you need, a sparkling clean and renovated bathroom, a super comfortable bed and a sun drenched deck for breakfast in the morning. We were welcomed with the heater on in the evening, so it was already nice and warm for arrival. We enjoyed the local walks in the area, especially the 3 views walk in Morton NP which had some spectacular views. I would highly recommend this place. Thankyou

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Gumm's Cottage, I defy anybody to find something that was'nt catered for. The Cottage is amazingly well equipped so much so it was like being at home only better due to the amazing views and wildlife and cleanliness is second to none!! Can't wait to come back again. Summary: We played 2  rounds of golf and my American husband really enjoyed seeing all the kangaroos lounging about! Delicious meal at Caf Bella on Sat night (per the recommendation in cottage folder). A very low maintenance, relaxing weekend. Well certainly be back.
