Our house is surrounded by picturesque quiet lakes loaded with Bass and public launches within a mile. We're located between the gulf beaches of Tampa and Clearwater, and all Orlando attractions like Disney, Universal, and Sea World. It's also 40 minutes from the quiet family friendly beach at Fort Island and only 30 minutes from the Manatee Preserves at Crystal River, where you can swim alongside the gentle creatures!!
Or you can spend the day right at home!! Swim, grill, play yard games, relax and enjoy your family. Fully fenced back yard with privacy fence allows your family to enjoy all the houses features in quiet serenity. Our family loves it here, and we are sure you will too!!!

Summary: This house was perfect for our family of 5. The rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen had a great layout. The pool was very nice to swim in. There is a grill, but we did not use it. Shopping is very close, we took advantage of thay and cooked quite a few meals ourselves. Coffee maker was always brewing. A few things to bring; cutting board(s) if ypu plan on cooking as well as some seasonings. Salt & pepper are available. The next time we visit, i will definitely bring an iron if needed. There are a frw books and puzzles, but for young kids, games, toys & books of your own are a must. The fenced in yard is great! We disnt bring our dog, but he would have definitely had a nice time. Overall I would recommend The Southern Jewel to anyone/everyone I know.

Summary: The house was lovely, clean and carefree! Open views of the pool with beautiful oak tree make for a great back yard and a place for the furry family to run and be safe in a completely double fenced yard! Sitting outside in the chairs provided under the oaks was extremely comfortable in the hot Florida heat! We enjoyed this Southern Charm to the utmost! Would definitely book again! The town is very easy to navigate without even getting on main highways to get to restaurants and shopping! We were amazed at how conveniently and quickly you could travel to other towns! No lack of things to do! Thank you so very much for a 5 star stay!

Summary: This property was the nicest VRBO property I've stayed with. The house was organized in the most thoughtful way for guest comfort. The furniture and beds were so comfortable and the swimming pool was just wonderful. We will most definitely rent this house again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a rental in Inverness.

Summary: It was so nice being in a home listed as kid friendly that was Actually kid friendly. There was no work needed on our part to have the home ready for our rambunctious three year old, and that made the trip even better. The host was quick to reply, and the home was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and sun room! We will be back to Inverness soon and will look to book again.

Summary: We had a mixed bag vacation, family from all over the country was coming for my grandmothers' 103rd birthday party! Unfortunately, she ended up in the hospitial during this time. Fortunately, this house was only 5 minutes from the hospital in Inverness. Numerous family members had rented various houses in the area, and I liked ours best. Impeccably clean and bright. All floors laminate or tile, no carpet.Great screened swimming pool with beach towels available. Furniture all sturdy and comfortable. Master spacious with lovely shower et walk in closet. Very quiet neighborhood, with nice fenced in backyard and the owners had a cornhole and kanjam set for people to use. Bathrooms well supplied with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and extra towels, wash supplies. Washer and dryer inclean, functional utility room. Upgraded refrigerator and dishwasher and sink. This is the perfect little place for a quiet getaway and spacious enough for get togethers. We met up at a house my brother rented on a golf course that was 4 BR 3 baths, and ours actually had more functional seating areas with the large dining table, and connecting sunroom with sturdy moveable furniture. They were constantly herding their grandchildren because they had light carpet throughout the house! Much too stressful ! LOL! I would definitely stay here again if we go back to this area and highly recommend! Only down side was garage not available for use.
