Positive: Sova smart house has excellent facilities even with spices and coffee provided in the shared kitchen! The staff were super responsive to anything that needed to be attended to, and even shared recommendations for daily itineraries. Close walk to the beach. I even left some necessities at the hostel and the manager was able to organize someone to bring them all the way to tivat for me 🥹 can’t recommend enough!

Negative: A bit far from city center unless you have a car

Positive: This is the best hotel/hostel in Bar. The facilities are excellent, with a very spacious kitchen and four stovetops, two different terraces, and air conditioning in the rooms. The manager will be your best friend in Bar; she's always looking after the facilities and caring about the guests. She recommended cultural activities I wasn't aware of, and she knows the entire surrounding area. At the end of my stay, I had a problem, and she was always in contact and ready to help. Thank you for everything.

Positive: The place was very nice. The room was quite big, the kitchen (outside of the room, with a big terrace to enjoy the meals there) was well equipped. The owner was really friendly and helpful. On the first night we were a bit cold, but we got warmer blankets that were perfect for the rest of our stay. There's a small parking lot, so I don't know about its capacity in peak season, but in May it wasn't a problem. The distance to the sea isn't far, either, though the road is a bit steep. I also really loved it that we got a clothes dryer, so I could do my laundry and actually had a spot to hang my stuff afterwards.

Negative: Not the accommodation's issue, but it's worth keeping in mind, that the road down to the sea is narrow with no pedestrian walkway, so one needs to pay attention to the cars - I believe it's an important point for people travelling with children or elderly.

Positive: it seems recently refurbished and the room had a balcony with a mountain view. a full kitchen/cooking facilities was available and a terrace or patio to enjoy

Negative: i had to wait 30 mins for check in as no whatsapp response, after walking from the bus station in august it seemed like an eternity!
