Positive: We were 6 adults in 3 rooms. Right by the lake, we had a nice evening walk along the well maintained running path. There is a dispenser with free soft drinks and coffee on the 2nd floor. However I cannot recommend this hotel, unless you just need to pass through Suwa shortly, as we did.
Negative: The whole place has an adult hotel vibe. The rooms were clean, but they smell like cigarette and you cannot open the windows as tiny bugs will fly in. They clearly endorse smoking as there are ashtrays and lighters in every room. One of the room’s sheets had dry bloodstains on them, fortunately the kind cleaning lady was there and she promptly changed them. Checkin process and communication with the administration is really cumbersome.
Summary: Former adult hotel that smells like cigarette.

Positive: You can have everything you need like amenities and room wears. We did self check in but the staffs are very helpful. It’s easy to contact them with the phone from our room. We have hot springs bath in the room. Breakfast is delicious and the price is reasonable. Very nice stay!
Negative: It’s a bit far from the station and they don’t have elevator. However you can walk along the lake, enjoy the beautiful scenery and find the hotel so it’s not a big problem if you love hiking and travel a lot.
Summary: Very nice trip and we will definitely come back to Suwa again

Positive: We had the breakfast as offered in the deal, it was a simple breakfast, bacon & egg cooked on a thick slice of toast, "very satisfying" also they have endless coffee, tea, soft drinks etc, from a machine in the corridor.
Negative: Needs a black-out blind on the windows as the street light shines thru all night.
Summary: Under cover parking, self check-in, free breakfast, free coffee & drinks, and meals in the machine.
