This farmhouse home offers a bright living area with great natural lighting and is the perfect home away from home. Whether you are traveling for work, visiting friends & family or just to get away; we hope you enjoy our lovely home!
Our home has been updated with beautiful shiplap throughout to offer a cozy, relaxing and carefree stay in a quiet neighborhood. The house is tastefully furnished and is perfect for a small family, couples and friends.
BEDROOMS:
- The master bedroom has a king size bed with a work/study desk nook and full length mirror.
- Bedroom 2 has a low profile queen size bed.
- The bedrooms have amazingly comfortable linens and are located on either side of the bathroom.
- Both bedrooms have a bedside digital clock with a USB port in the back of it for charging.
- Iron / ironing board.
BATHROOM:
- Guests will have towels and extras if needed along with a basket of essential items in case you forget yours :).
- Blow dryer
LIVING ROOM:
- Wi-Fi is available along with a smart tv with streaming apps such as Hulu and Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
KITCHEN:
- Keurig coffee machine with kcups, cream and sugar. There is also green tea and a relaxation tea to wind down before heading to bed.
- There are some breakfast items and snacks.
- Universal charging dock for both Android and iPhone.
- Toaster oven, microwave, blender
LAUNDRY ROOM:
- Washer & dryer with "free and clear" laundry detergent that you are welcome to use!

Summary: The house itself was super cute. The only issues were the vents were caked in dust and the tv wouldn't work. We couldn't even stream anything.The laundry room and bathroom were both fully stocked and the kitchen was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay. Beds are low- but comfortable. Location is close to everything. Older neighborhood but we didn’t have any issues.

Summary: I was so sad to find this home only had streaming on the smart tv. I would have loved to be able to just turn on tv and chill at the end of the day, but instead I had to contact my daughters and borrow passwords. What a pain! It would be well worth investing in a basic cable or dish network to keep ALL ages of guests happy!

Summary: The house is clean and nice. It’s cute. A manual is sent to read before checking in. The entry door has a trick. The keypad deadbolt is not intuitive. The dining area table picture in the VRBO posting shows a small table. Upon arrival one learns that the end bench is attached to the table so the seat can’t move. The two red stools are bar height, not table height. There was not a way for the four of us to comfortably share a meal around the table or play a game we had brought with us. The queen bed in the 2nd bedroom is listed as low profile. What that means is that It is on a platform and is 24” off the floor. The platform sticks out 8-9 inches from each side. Getting into bed is awkward., making the bed is awkward.. The edges of the platform stick out into the walking area and are black, thus being hard to see at night. If something like eye glasses fall off the shelf of the platform bed frame, retrieval requires acts of contortion. The electronic manual guests are asked to read before checking in asks guests not to step on the platform that sticks out so that it won’t break. Folks who have movement issues or issues getting up out of low things will not be able to use this bed, or folks who tend to forget the platform ledge is there will find themselves repeatedly catching their shins on the edge. There were other difficulties relating to old electric plug ins not being able to hold a plug. There is a universal charger in the kitchen, but if a person wishes to charge their phone beside their bed at night, there are not plug-ins for that. There were not places to hang up long clothing items in the second bedroom. The second bedroom does not have a mirror to help out for times when 4 people are getting dressed to go an event. The first bedroom does have a mirror behind the door and we appreciated that. There is a small table top sized ironing board which we made use of. The light switch for the living room is hidden behind the sliding barn door to the kitchen. The LED lightbulbs in the living room, kitchen and bedrooms are set to the very cool and blue spectrum., which we experienced as harsh and unpleasant. That is my personal opinion and I do recognize that some folks like the blue tone lights. The house was clean, met our most basic needs and is a cute little house to look at during the day but dealing with that platform bed and not having a table to enjoy a meal at is a deal breaker for me.

Summary: We needed a one night stay. The stay was ok. It was on one of the hotter days so the AC didn’t cool the house enough. The exterior door needs replacing, didn’t really feel secure. Nice decor.

Summary: I was in Wichita for business with my daughter and we really enjoyed staying in the house. Absolutely adorable, well decorated and clean. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was pretty well stocked for fixing snacks. Very quiet neighborhood and was close to downtown for when we went exploring on our down time. We will be booking again when we come back in March :)
