Positive: I recently stayed at a 3-bedroom house that featured two living areas—one located at the entrance and the other adjoining the kitchen and dining area. The layout is spacious and practical, and the heating system worked very well, which was a plus. However, cooling during the hotter months may pose a challenge, as the property doesn’t seem well-equipped for summer temperatures. The property includes a generous parking space for two cars and a lovely backyard garden, both of which added to the overall appeal. The washing machine and dryer were efficient and much appreciated during our stay.
Negative: That said, several areas fell short of expectations. The kitchen facilities were lacking, particularly for a family of 5–7 people. There weren’t enough kitchenwares, and we found the cutlery, plates, and cups not properly cleaned. Additionally, the furniture and toilet fixtures were dated and in need of refurbishment. Flimsy door knobs and general wear and tear further detracted from the experience. More concerning was the level of upkeep expected of guests—I was required to wash towels and handle rubbish bin disposal personally, which did not align with the pricing. Overall, I did not feel it was value for money. With some renovations and better maintenance, this property could have much more potential.
