This property, is a cozy home away from home with a sunny location, facing south on the second fairway of the Eagle-Vail golf course. There is an old world ambiance featuring artistic patina on hand-textured walls and richly lacquered exposed beams. When you walk through the front door, you immediately become aware of the loving attention to detail that went into this renovation. The materials throughout include hardwood, slate, stone tile, marble and granite slab surfaces as well as alder cabinetry, trim and doors which gives the home an ambience of a true mountain lodge. The open floor plan of the main level has comfortable leather furniture in the living area, large flat screen, games table, and is complete with a native Colorado stone gas fireplace. The dining area is outfitted with a large wood and iron table and seats 8. Complete with stainless steel appliances and a gas range, a gourmet kitchen has all the necessities and utensils to please the cook of the family.
A large, south facing deck with flower planters overlooks the golf course and the aspen filled mountains. There is ample outdoor seating during the summer months as well as a gas grill. Rounding out the main level is a cedar paneled hot tub room with a tub that will comfortably fit up to 5 adults.
There are two primary bedroom suites on the upper level, with bathrooms including marble counters and spa-like marble tile showers with glass doors. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed with a decorative wood headboard, the other has a California king . One of the bedrooms has a small deck with atrium doors and windows that look out to the 2nd fairway of the Eagle-Vail golf course. Each of the 4 bedrooms in the home have flat panel TV’s and DVD players for in-suite entertainment.
The bedrooms downstairs are at garden level with plenty of natural light and consist of another large master bedroom with a wrought iron king size bed while the second bedroom has a log bunk bed with a full size bed below and a single above. There is also a full size trundle bed. This room is a favorite for kids but can comfortably accommodate a couple or up to 3 single adults. These bedrooms are connected by a common bath with counters and bath walls finished in stone tile.

Summary: We were very satisfied with the house. It was very clean, enough space for our group and perfect location. We had a couple issues though; The first night we only had maybe 5 minutes of warm water and then it went ice cold for showers. I texted the property manager and she called me about the issue. I explain what’s going on, and then she asks me how old I was because I sound young (We are a group with ages ranging from 23-32). I tell her I’m 23 years old and she responds with “23? Are your parents there?”. I let her know that I was married, and the majority of our group is as well. She was very condescending towards me and our group throughout the remainder of the call and ended with “You guys behave” and that someone would come check it out the next day. The whole conversation just made me uncomfortable and was not focused on resolving the hot water issue for us. The house itself was great, but with a group of 8 people it was really hard for all of us to get hot showers after coming in for the evening, as it only lasted for 3-4 very quick showers. We will not be revisiting.

All the extras were really appreciated - everything was supplied and even had food in the pantry! This place is 5 stars and I would recommend to my friends and family. The only thing I would recommend is that it is time to replace the hot tub. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Summary: We really enjoyed staying between Beaver Creek and Vail. We had easy access to both skiing parks. The house was just the right size for our family, the fireplace kept us warm. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We had two issues - one with the heating in the house and the other with one of the bedrooms but it was fixed almost immediately by the property manager who was on the spot and so helpful. She was helpful also with directions and makind sure we had a good stay. We would stay here again anytime!

Summary: This house was great! Lots of space with all the amenities of home. As a Floridian, it took some getting used to having no A/C, but the evenings cooled down nicely, and so did the house. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the back deck tremendously! Nearby trees provided shade for most of the day, and the wide open golf course not only gave us beautiful breezes but stunning mountain views. Beware of errant golf balls though! The neighborhood is filled with mature trees and lovely gardens and is very nicely positioned to I-70. We hope to get back to this property in the near future.

The new television in the living room was needed and a welcome addition. Would not hurt to replace all. The heat in the master bedroom was not working correctly. Not sure if I did something wrong, but was not a big deal. Would not hurt to have a plumber tightened the hot and cold valves in the master bathroom. All. Minor stuff.
