Summary: What an incredible gem we found—just a short drive from home, yet it felt like a true escape from the city.The house was absolutely wonderful: spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It had the charming elegance of older luxury, and we instantly felt comfortable and at home.One of the highlights was the large, private backyard—complete with a swing, a hot tub, and of course, the stunning pool. The pool was large, beautiful, and truly made our stay feel like a resort getaway.The neighborhood was peaceful and upscale, with the homes spaced out and separated by trees, giving us a sense of total privacy and seclusion. Surrounded by nature, birdsong, and beautiful trees, it felt like we had stepped into a serene retreat.Yet, we were still just 10 minutes away from downtown St. Charles, where we enjoyed a lovely Saturday night dinner.This was a girls-only weekend to celebrate a birthday, and every one of us had such a wonderful time—relaxing, connecting, laughing, and soaking in the natural beauty around us.The host was absolutely fantastic—warm, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.We couldn’t recommend this place more. What a hidden gem! We’re already looking forward to coming back—it’s so close to home, but truly feels like you’ve traveled to another state to unwind and recharge.

Summary: The house was great for hanging out…hot tub & pool and we enjoyed the sauna too. We enjoyed the massage chair in the master bedroom.The bathrooms upstairs are outdated, especially the master bath but it was clean. Overall a great place to stay!
