Summary: Cabin was cute and well stocked. Pictures were accurate and owners were very easy to communicate with and answered quickly. We took advantage of the canoe, paddle boat and fire pit. Too cold for swimming though. The only thing to note was that the owners have dogs, not an issue for most but, if we had know, a few of our party would have taken allergy meds prior to arrival.

Summary: This home was the perfect place to spend time with lifelong friends. Kitchen was well equipped for us to enjoy meals together. There were several comfortable areas to socialize. We would definitely rent this property again.

Summary: This house was ideal for a three families that included our two grandsons that are both under two. The common spaces were large enough to handle the multiple families and worked great for being together or having time away from the larger group. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Multiple bathrooms gave us the privacy and there was never having to wait to use the bathroom in the morning or evening. The weather was not the best, but we did have a chance to enjoy the backdeck and could see that the view would be terrific. The house sits on a nice private lot and is well configured for mulitple families.

Summary: Jill and Mark’s home was spacious, clean, and welcoming. We had the unexpected pleasure of checking out their extensive garden which was great fun for the kids. The property is really beautiful and conveniently located. I would be remiss not to mention that Jill was an exceptionally considerate and responsive host. She went out of her way to get us checked in a little early and was prompt and considerate in all her communication. Provided you are okay with the limited internet/entertainment options available, I would not hesitate to book this property.

Summary: The house offered everything we needed to make great family memories. It was not a great swimming location but our kids enjoyed having the pool set up on the deck, fishing, and going out on the canoe. We visited Paul B land and the mini golf course(deerwood). If you stay here I would definitely take time to do the mini golf. The Internet was slow but I wouldn't say that was all bad because sometimes it's good to disconnect from electronics and truly spend time with family. They were always available to answer questions and very helpful making sure we enjoyed our time.

Summary: This was a lovely place for me and my colleagues to stay on a work trip to Aitkin. Three bedrooms plus loft and three baths meant each of us had enough privacy. Lots of places to hang out and work. House is beautiful and clean and the deck, yard, and lake are gorgeous! Would come back with family or friends.

Summary: Everything was great. It was big enough for our large group we could go off and get some time to ourselves. Very clean and the communication was great. The ONLY downfall was the swimming wasn’t ideal with kids. There was a lot of weeds.
