This is a beautiful 4-bedroom holiday home for 8 people in Rodershausen, Germany. It's located close to a playground and a cross-country ski run is just 25 km away. In front of the house is a garden with garden furniture and a grill, which our guests are welcome to use. A little below the house there is a meadow for sports activities. You will never feel a dull moment here!
As the name suggests, from the house you have a wonderful view of the Luxembourg Our Valley. Rodershausen is a relaxing place with about 200 inhabitants at 500m above sea level. The district town of Bitburg is about 35 km away. The romantic climatic health resort of Neuerburg and the small Luxembourg town of Vianden, with its Victor Hugo house and the famous castle, are each only around 12 km away. With Neuerburg, Vianden and Körperich, 3 outdoor pools can be reached in 10 minutes, and there are also numerous shops. The Cascade Adventure Pool with an indoor pool and sauna world is located in Bitburg.
In the evening, you can enjoy barbecue meals with a drink of your choice! The central heating ensures the house remains warm in winter. The bedrooms are comfortable and perfect for a peaceful sleep.

Summary: Zeer ruim schoon huis met zonnige ligging. Zowel voor als achter het huis kun je zitten onder een boom. Prima uitgangspunt om Luxemburg te bezoeken. Kwartiertje rijden van Vianden en een half uurtje van Müllterthal, het wandelgebied van Luxemburg. Boodschappen kun je doen in Neuerburg (15 min.) of Körperich (10 min). Je wandelt zo de prachtige natuur in achter het huisje, waar we diverse keren op reeën en herten zijn gestuit.

Summary: De ervaring van de Heer Miessen, drie huurdersbeoordelingen eerder, delen wij niet - wij betaalden voor de elektriciteit slechts E 3,50 per dag, alleszins schappelijk. De verhuurster stond dadelijk voor ons klaar, het huis was spic en span schoon, ruim, en comfortabel voor onze groep van 7 personen. De omgeving was prachtig, met Klein Zwitserland in Luxemburg op slechts een klein kwartiertje rijden. Kortom een top-locatie.

Summary: Met een groep van 8 vrienden vanuit dit huisje fietstochten gemaakt Luxemburg in. Prachtige omgeving. Huisbazin is een zeer vriendelijke oudere dame die ons netjes heeft geholpen. Het huisje is wel wat verouderd, maar als je in zo'n mooie omgeving zit is het zonde om lang binnen te blijven. We overwegen al om volgend jaar weer terug te gaan omdat we nog lang niet alles gezien hebben in de regio en er is veel rust in en rondom het huisje.

Summary: De omgeving is prachtig! Luxemburg ligt om de hoek. Het huisje was schoon en netjes. Om boodschappen te halen is wel een auto nodig, winkels zijn er niet in Rodershausen. De verhuurder was erg vriendelijk! We hebben een mooie vakantie gehad.

Summary: Veel andere reviews roemen de ruimte in dit huis, de goede bedden, het feit dat er twee badkamers/toiletten zijn, de gastvrijheid van de verhuurster die naast het vakantiehuis woont. De goede hygiene is in deze corona tijd zeker een vermelding waard. Met een paar kleine aanpassingen zou het comfort kunnen verbeteren. Ik noem verduisterende gordijnen, een magnetron en een broodrooster. Ik was twee ochtenden vroeg wakker en met de volle zon in de slaapkamer val ik dan niet weer in slaap. Verder missen we in een korte vakantie een (af)wasmachine niet echt, maar we zouden hier met zes personen niet twee weken willen verblijven zonder de mogelijkheid om kleren en handdoeken te wassen. Voor ons was deze vakantie de eerste met een volledig elektrische auto. De verhuurster stond ons welwillend toe dat we de laadstekker in een gewoon stopcontact deden. Dat ging met 8 Ampere laden prima. Na een fastned laadmoment in de buurt van Maastricht, duurde het daarmee 24 uur voor de accu helemaal vol was. Dichtstbijzijnde laadplek is >10 km verder op in Neuerburg. Die vraagt wel een laadpas van de Duitse firma Maingau, die had ik gelukkig bij me. Vergeet dus niet beide laadstekkers mee te nemen op deze vakantie.

Summary: Leuk weekje vakantie met 6 personen in Rodershausen gehad! Tweede keer dat we voor dit adres kiezen door de prijs en gunstige ligging met betrekking tot Luxemburg. Robuust huis met voldoende ruimte en uitzicht. Dorpje is klein en heeft geen winkels (wel een SRV-wagen op zaterdag). Omgeving is geschikt om te wandelen.

Summary: We werden hartelijk welkom geheten door de gastvrouw die ons enthousiast onze verblijfplaats voor de komende 5 dagen showde. Het was fijn dat we wat eerder het huis konden betrekken en dat we ook in alle rust vrijdag konden inpakken en vertrekken. De omgeving is fantastisch om te wandelen en daarna was het goed toeven op dit adres.
