We are Rosenborg, an apartment hotel set directly across from the Round Tower in the heart of Copenhagen, housed in a neoclassical building from 1830. Our 15 spacious apartments follow a homey Scandinavian style, with warm materials and a calm atmosphere. With self check-in and fully equipped apartments, we combine the ease of having a place of your own with access to hotel services.
The Space:
This attic apartment is located on the 5th floor, tucked beneath the building’s original roof structure. The layout includes two bedrooms, a living area with a dining table for five, a full kitchen, and one bathroom. The space follows a homey Scandinavian style, with sloped ceilings shaping the apartment throughout, and is arranged to accommodate up to five guests. There is no elevator in this part of the building.

Guest Access:
Our concept is simple: the apartments are fully equipped and carefully designed, accessed through easy self check-in with a personal code, and supported by a 24/7 online reception for anything needed before or during the stay. Extra services can be arranged through our Guest Hub, including additional housekeeping, late check-out (available for purchase until 1pm, depending on availability), and baby cribs and high chairs at no charge. Free mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for visits of eight nights or more. Luggage can be stored in the basement, and parking is available through our Q-Park partnership with a guest discount.
The Neighborhood:
Rosenborg is set right in the historic center of Copenhagen, a few steps from the Round Tower, small pedestrian streets, cafés, bakeries, and local shops. It’s an easy area to explore on foot, with parks, museums, and everyday conveniences close by. We keep restaurant and café recommendations in our Guest Hub, and we’re always happy to share tips or help with bookings.
Getting Around:
Rosenborg is easy to reach by public transport. Nørreport Station is the closest hub, with metro, S-trains, and regional trains all in one place. From there, it’s a short walk through the old town streets. Taxis and ride-shares can drop off right outside the building. If arriving from the airport, the metro runs directly to Nørreport in about 15 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
The building sits in a lively and central part of Copenhagen, so some city noise can be expected. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, and pets are not permitted.
Our neighbor, the Round Tower, will undergo restoration of its observatory dome from January to mid-April 2026. As we are located right next to this landmark, there may be occasional crane activity, brief street closures, or daytime noise from the workshop at street level. While these disruptions are expected to be limited, it also offers a rare chance to witness the restoration of one of Copenhagen’s most iconic buildings up close.

Our reception is available around the clock by text or phone. We keep housekeeping and guest support immediate and reliable, and we’re here to help with anything needed before, during, or after the stay. Fresh towels, extra housekeeping, or local tips are just a message away. Summary: The apartment was perfectly located in the city! Any direction you chose to walk from your doorstep there were wonderful sites to see and good restaurants. A real bonus was the grocery store two steps down from the building. The apartment was clean, pretty, comfortable, organized, quiet and the management was easy to get ahold of in case you had questions. Everything you could possibly need in an apartment was available. We stayed for over a week and it was too short! Very nice to have access to a clean and free laundry room. There are stairs to the apartment with no access to an elevator so that would be the one thing visitors should take note of before they book. Having said that it is a bright, clean stairwell so even that adds to the memories:) The stairs would not dissuade me from staying there again!

Summary: This was everything the photos promised. We had a lovely stay with our daughter and her husband who met up with us from their home in Bern. But there are a lot of stairs; it’s not for people who have difficulties with six flights of stairs!

Summary: This place is great! Clean, well maintained, roomy, modern and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were great with instructions. One minor issue was washer and dryer are shared throughout the building and are in demand. One other note is this flat is on the fifth floor and there is no elevator. That could be difficult for some. Location is great and easy walking distance to all top attractions. Highly recommended for a great time in Copenhagen.

Summary: Great option, we were in the attic room,5 flights up but good for daily fitness- clean, bright, well designed,2 large bedrooms , excellent facilities, totally silent apart from neighboring church bells @ 8 am. Highly recommended!

Summary: This property is perfectly located. The unit was in exactly as pictured. The staff was immediately responsive. The kitchen was truly a kitchen that could be used. There were enough towels and supplies. It was a perfect choice. Just be aware some units are only accessible by stairs, although the stairs are wide and easy to climb. Our unit was 6 flights, we are 70 and managed just fine.

Summary: The location was perfect. City square, parks, castle, shopping , canals, metro stations all walkable. The ten flight of stairs was challenging with luggage but well worth it once we entered our bright and airy apartment. The separation of the bedrooms gave each couple their privacy and sharing the one bathroom proved to work just fine. Kitchen had all the basics and the grocery store was a couple of doors down the street. We used the laundry facilities in the basement, drying time takes awhile. Extra hangers or drawers would have been nice to have in the bedrooms so we could have unpacked more of our clothes. We all loved Copenhagen and all that it has to offer and would stay here again.
