Summary: I was accommodated with an early check-in for work. I would suggest fixing the back door to make it feel more secure. Great location for commuting around the city.

Summary: This property is easily accessible by subway and Metro North trains. Whole Foods, CVS, etc are two blocks away. Friendly neighbors. While the neighborhood isn’t super clean and there are some folks around that appear unpredictable, we had zero problems even at midnight walking back with our teenagers. The unit itself is spacious. We arrived and the second bedroom had significant ceiling issues, with some corners crumbling plaster onto the bed. We texted and they sent someone to fix, which they did. But they didn’t clean up so we returned later that day and had to text again for a cleaning crew to come, which they did. It was quite frustrating. The back door has a flimsy poorly installed lock that I could break with a running start, so I’ve alerted the manager that it’s scary (and unsafe) for guests and needs upgrading. The kitchen has basic supplies, but we’re talking bare minimum. Four soup spoons - that’s all the spoons total. Two coffee mugs. You get the picture. Overall this place could be great but is poorly maintained. I would stay again if I were assured it’s in better condition.

Summary: I loved the neighborhood. The apartment looked like the photos. It was quiet. It could have had some better pots and pans. We had trouble checking in but only because we did not know that it was a basement. The owners responded fairly quickly

Summary: The place was ok, my daughter caught an allergic reaction to something while we were there the first night. Before my husband went to sleep he was itching in his ENT, which is not common for him. Then I so happen to wake up out of my sleep and my ENT was itching really bad we all had to take an allergy medicine. Then we couldn’t figure out how to work the heat which I’m assuming we did do it right because it was controlled with these remote controls that I turned all the way up, but it was still cold throughout the night. Other than that the place is nice for a quick stay.

Summary: For the price, this place was perfect. Close to a zillion amenities. We are not “city people” but we felt safe. It was the weekend so no problem with street parking. The host was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond. We had an issue which she addressed quickly, and the maintenance person was very professional. Kitchen is updated. We would like to stay again when we return.

Summary: This Brownstone was Every and More for Our 4 day stay. It is in walking distance to the historic Apollo, shopping and food! The owner responded immediately when contacted about our only issue, the tub knob came off. Needless to say, I would stay here again!!!

Summary: Me and my mother stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment itself is big and spacious but could have been a little bit cleaner. The area is nice with good shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Only a short journey by Subway into Manhattan for sightseeing. Great communication from host. Overall would recommend and would stay again.

Summary: All and all the stay was perfect but there was a gap of about two inches under the front door which made the apartment really cold, especially at night. We had to roll a towel under the door to slow the cold air.
