Summary: Needs thorough cleaning, kitchen very difficult as oven not holding temp and fryer not working; water not working in some bathrooms/no hot and little pressure; floors slippery, tiny fridge and no ice, doors difficult, lightbulbs missing, insects in some bathrooms, and suggest mold remediation. Owner pleasant but too many issues. We are all responsible older adults and left it in as good condition as possible.

Summary: This place is great for a large family gathering. Everyone was comfortable and loved having their own bathroom in each bedroom suite. FYI there are two jack and Jill bathroom setups. Very quiet area with wild life in the area. Buda has as a nice quaint downtown. Lodge is about 10 minutes from Starbucks, HEB and Walmart. Kellie was wonderful, met us at the Lodge and went over everything with us.

Summary: Our 4-day weekend was for a company made up of about 25 writers from the US, Canada, and Mexico. Most of us were meeting each other for the first time after months of only Zoom calls. The location fostered a welcoming, warm atmosphere and by the end we had a shared experience we will always remember. Couldn't have chosen a better place. Thank you so much!

Summary: Madelyn's place was perfect for our group of 13. There was more than enough space, bedrooms, bathrooms, seating, etc. for us. The location is peaceful but not too far away from downtown Austin. I recommend staying here if you have a large group.

Summary: Peaceful rustic property. Great place for a large family gathering for our daughters wedding. Bedrooms were comfortable and met all our needs. We had 7 couples, 2 with small children and 5 individuals and there was plenty of space. The kitchen is large and set up well for preparing meals, including a rehearsal dinner. Dining area comfortably seats 25+ and can fit more with table rearrangement. Owners were extremely responsive to questions and needs. If we had another event in the area and needed space for family I would stay there again!
