Don't miss this awesome house right in the center of EVERYTHING Huntsville, AL!
The location is truly unbeatable. You can get to Huntsville and the surrounding areas within minutes! There are HUNDREDS of options nearby of different restaurants, attractions, and major highways taking you conveniently to anywhere you could desire.
Guests can enjoy the entire house to themselves. It has 3 bedrooms on the main floor, one very spacious bedroom in the basement, two full baths, a beautiful living area, and a large theatre room in the basement - amazing for entertaining! There are 2 regular TVs, and one large projector in the theatre room. Cable is not included, but all major streaming apps are loaded with many movies and shows of your choosing. From the basement area, guests can access the enclosed back yard which is perfect for children to play and adults to rest and reset. We are centrally located in Huntsville - within just a minute or two to HWY 72 (which has every kind of restaurant, entertainment, and shopping you could ever imagine), the new Orion theatre, Mitcity Market which houses eclectic shopping, beautiful outdoor seating areas, live music, amazing coffee shops, and the ever popular Dave and Buster's! The highway is no more than 5 minutes away, carrying you swiftly to the Trash Pandas stadium, the VBC, the Botanical Gardens, UAH, Oakwood University, many local breweries, and the Huntsville Downtown area nightlife!
We are in close proximity to every convenience you could need, including 24-hour pharmacies, grocery stores, hardware stores, and more! This location CAN NOT BE BEAT!
Guests have access to a large private lot with ample parking in the driveway and around the back of the house. There is comfortable and spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces. This is a private property on a cute and quiet stretch of road.
We supply one roll of toilet paper in all bathrooms as well as one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Once depleted, guests will be responsible for replenishing.
Absolutely NO parties and NO smoking will be permitted. We do permit small social gatherings and events such as bridal parties, baby showers, etc as long as the number of people is not too great. Please private message me for authorization. Breaking these rules will result in an extra cleaning fee of $50. It will be the guests' responsibility to cover damages. We do have cameras present, so you will be caught if you break these rules.
We are also hesitant to host local guests. This rule protects the property from wild house parties or what could turn into illegal activity. We will make exceptions if we are comfortable with the booking. Just message me and we can start a dialogue!

Summary: House is nicely located, clean enough, beds comfortable (hole in sheet for one bed). The kitchen needs some definite work. We did not find out about leak in disposal until I returned home. I gave info for another guest to be notified, because I do not have email/internet access on my flip phone. This was ignored. She got no notifications. We did notice smell in very old/stained kitchen sink; thought it was the water. Bathtub had no grippers or handles for older guests (like us). We would not reccommend this house for single seniors (3 of us). Maybe a family with several kids could enjoy the house and use the basement area with play room. Since we were in Huntsville to visit old friends, and only in the house to sleep and have breakfast, we found it just an "O.K." place to stay. We will not rent this house when we return for another visit.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The location was great and close to many restaurants, the botanical gardens (we attended a wedding there), activities for the kids, and stores for shopping. Our only small complaint would be the parking. If you have more than 1 car, they must park one behind the other so cars have to juggle to get out if one needs to leave. There was an area out back to park but the basketball goal is back there and we had some kiddos who love basketball! 🏀 My biggest complaint is not with this property, but there is a property directly behind it (they share a fence). There was a small fluffy white dog in the back yard who seemed to spend his life out there. I never saw a person come out of that house once to check on that dog. The house frankly almost looked abandoned from the back. There was an old air conditioner or something piled up, another pile of something, the grass and underbrush was overgrown and the dog just sat on the little backdoor stoop or on what looked like an old tire. I was not at our house all the time but I worried about the dog all the time. I never saw him go inside and this was a small, white fluffy dog that you would assume would be an inside pup. There was a very small igloo dog house outside but the dog never entered. I saw 2 bowls but never saw anyone fill them. I just felt so sorry for this dog- the only downside of a wonderful trip and great accommodations!

Summary: This is a great clean property and the Host was very responsive. We came to Huntsville to play golf at the RTJ trail location there. The location was close to dining options, shopping and groceries. There was a theatre room we didn't have a chance to use, but I'm sure families would really like it.
