Welcome to beautiful Sunset Cottage in Providence Bay! Located steps off the beach, you are in the
center of the village near the boardwalk, children’s playground, Lake Huron Fish & Chips, and the
Mutchmor and Providence Peace Café.
The spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath house provides sleeping for up to 9 and is filled with amenities to
ensure you have a fantastic vacation. Central air and heat ensure a comfortable stay, as well as the
wood stove in the den for ambiance in cooler weather. All bath towels, beach towels, pillows, and bed
linens are provided so you can pack light for your trip.
The fully-equipped kitchen offers both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, griddle, pots &
pans, dishware, popcorn maker, a dishwasher, and seating for 4 at the island.
In the living and dining room, there are 2 couches, a 50” tv with streaming services, DVD player, lots of
movies, puzzles and games for family fun. High-speed internet ensures that you can connect to the
outside world if you must. The large dining table offers seating for 8.
The main floor also contains a den equipped with futon, chaise lounge, tv, x-box, toys and games. There
is a door between this room and the kitchen to provide privacy at night for anyone sleeping on the
futon. The garage has been converted into a games room with shuffleboard, foosball table, and dart
board. A full washroom with shower completes this floor.
Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms and a 2 nd full bathroom. There is one queen bed, a double bed, and a
3 rd bedroom with a twin over double bunkbed. Enjoy the views of the beach and village from the
windows as you plan your day.
Outside, you can barbeque on the new grill, enjoy a meal at the patio table, play a game of croquet or
lawn bowling, and enjoy evenings around the fire pit. While the yard isn’t fully fenced, there is a stake
to clip your pet to, so they can safely enjoy the yard with you. Parking for 3 vehicles makes the house
perfect for multi-generational families.

Summary: Lovely property. Close to beach, cafe and fish and chip shop. Had all amenities that you would need. Fully equipped kitchen and many, many toys games and movies. Stairs are steep so not good for anyone that has trouble with climbing. But there was a futon on lower level if you wanted to sleep there. We had 6 people and two dogs with plenty of room. My grandson loved the toys and games and didn’t want to leave.

Summary: This home had everything you could need for your stay. Well stocked with clean linens, even beach towels. Wifi worked well for a cosy evening with a movie. And games room in the garage was awesome for our tween/teens. I can’t say enough about the location. So close to the water and playground. Steps from the coffeeshop/gallery & best fish & chips. Only 13 mins drive to gas and grocery.

Summary: Overall we had a really pleasant experience. The hosts were extremely friendly, gracoius, and helpful with any questions we had. The house was in a perfect location just 2 min walk from the beach and restaurants. The house was also spacious and clean with lots of unexpected amenties. In addition there was also a wonderful welcome package left for us and a lot of games too which was a pleasant surprise. As first time users and visitors to the Island, We would definitely love to stay there again!

Summary: Fabulous location, everything and more I expected from the listing. A thoughtfully put together house filled with everything you need for your stay. My kids enjoyed all the toys, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor area and the proximity to the beach. I highly recommend this rental!

Summary: We loved everything about this lovely cottage. It has everything you will need, including towels, linens, cooking utensils and more. It is spacious, clean and the location is superb. It is steps to the most beautiful beach on the island with a fantastic playground, and driving distance to many other great sights. There are 3 restaurants within a few minutes walk. Make sure to get groceries on your way, as there is none available in Providence Bay and you may not want to leave once you get here. The owners were such a treat to deal with. Communciation was excellent. They were flexible, responsive and answered all questions, offering recommendations etc. They left lots of toys for our 3 year old which was awesome and a lovely welcome basket with treats. We appreciated the local maple syrup on our pancakes! They were also gracious and kind with check in/out times which was super helpful. When we had issues with the internet, they offered to come over to help. This truly was a wonderful experience, especially as first timers on the island. Thank you!
