Koocanuusa Retreat is a spacious, luxurious (ski) cabin for groups of up to 10.
Ski resorts are on a 40 minutes distance: Fernie and Kimberly.
The cabin is close to the lake and has walkable access to the water for swimming and water sports.
The main floor has a family room and open kitchen with bar chairs. There’s a dining table with 6 chairs, with large sliding glass doors showing the lake.

Summary: We were 2 families of 5 staying here (6 kids all under the age of 9) and we had an awesome time. Really great space for them, and us adults to have time away from them while knowing they were safe (there is so much space!) in my opinion you could sleep quite a few people here if needed. The only con was this property portrays as it is lake/riverfront from the pictures— it is up on a mountain with a trail that leads to the water. Other than that, we had a really great time at this beautiful getaway and recommend Caroline’s property!
