Get away from the hustle and bustle from the city life with our family friendly, clean, 1700 square foot cabin with central air conditioning, located in the Texas Creek/Cotopaxi, Colorado area. Property elevation is 7,805'. The property is located in the Banana Belt Region of the Rockies, where you can experience warmer, drier weather as opposed to surrounding areas, which makes it easy to enjoy outside activities year around. Also, this area is wonderful for star gazing at night, due to the clear mountain skies where the moon lights up the sky. The property is located 23 miles from the Royal Gorge, where you can cross the gorge 955 feet above the Arkansas River. The property is located 16 miles from the Arkansas River, where you can enjoy white water rafting, zip lining and fly fishing. The Rainbow Trail is located 13 miles from our property, it is a moderate hiking trail, where snow shoeing, horse back riding and birding can be done.

The Spike Buck Recreation Site is 12 miles from our property, where you can fish and kayak. You can witness breathtaking views and test your driving abilities on the Skyline drive, which is located on the west side of Canon City. The property is in close proximity to the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range and San Isabel National Forest, which contains 19 of the state's 53 fourteeners, peaks over 14,000 feet high, including Mount Albert, which is the highest. Outdoor amenities available: Outdoor grill, two raised decks, private hiking trail. The kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities, but bring your own food. All linens included, with access to a washer and dryer. We have internet service through a local hot spot with DIRECTV NOW, Netflix and Hulu available. DVDs are available for children and adults. There are books to read, puzzles, as well as, board/card games. Be on the lookout for wildlife in the area as they pass through our property to say hello. You can even hear the coyotes howl at night.
