Peaceful Mountain Top Retreat atop FDR National Park! This unique A-Frame home has the amenities you need for great stay. Floor to ceiling windows, a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, patio table with fire pit, 2 living areas, spiral staircase to master bedroom loft. Roku smart TVs, motorized blinds, coffee bar and more! Close to mountain trails, biking, horseback riding, Callaway Gardens, Wild Animal Safari, Mountain Top Inn Event Centre, Downtown Pine Mountain and so much more. Less than 50 miles from Fort Moore!
The Space:
This space is so much brighter and more open than pictures can show! The kitchen is fully stocked with the standard cooking utensils, pots/pans, plates, bowls, and grilling utensils. The grill is both gas and charcoal with a smoker and side burner. The deck table has a gas-fueled firepit in the center that is perfect for s'mores or staying warm on a cool night. We have installed motorized blinds on the floor-to-ceiling windows. The remote controls are not easily replaced so please keep them in their basket or there is a fee for replacement.
***THERE IS A LARGE STEP in the carport access to the home. We have painted it yellow and leave the light on so you will see it. PLEASE USE CAUTION when entering the home through the carport.
Guest Access:
You will have full access to the entire home, deck, outdoor garden.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. There is a one-way road with an inner loop and an outer loop, our chalet is on the outer loop. Little traffic so its perfect for walking or running.
Getting Around:
Just outside the FDR State Park and only 10 minutes to Callaway Gardens and Pine Mountain. We are 1 hour from ATL Airport and less than 50 miles from Columbus/Fort Moore. Activities nearby include Wild Animal Safari, Callaway Gardens and Golf Course, FDR State Park, Roosevelt Stables, The Little White House, Liberty Bell Swimming Pool, Warm Springs Winery, and so much more!

Summary: The stay was fantastic! The property was located in a quiet, safe area. The house was spotless and even had a beautiful Christmas tree all decorated. The house was warm and cozy and the televisions had all the channels available. The owner was very friendly and available.

Summary: Overall a good experience. Enough room for us, both daughters, the son-in-law, and granddaughter. The internet was spotty, but we were rarely in the cabin, so it didn't bother us too much.

Summary: Beth is such a great host! There was a temporary plumbing issue at her place that made us unable to stay while she waited for repair work, and she so quickly handled the situation! Beth went above and beyond for us in order to help us find a different location to stay, she went so far as to reach out to a different host to ensure we had a place to go. What would have been a stressful situation, Beth made sure it was a smooth process. We can’t wait to stay at this property during another trip to Pine Mountain!

Summary: This was the perfect place for me and my 2 sisters to spend my birthday weekend. Nice to have bedrooms separated, on 3rd floor loft and other 2 on first floor. Just right amount of space. Beds were comfy. Beautiful location in the woods, but still neighbors within distant view. Convenient to FDRoosevlt Park and Callaway Gardens. We enjoyed both.

Summary: We had a family wedding in FDR state park and this home was perfect! It comfortably fit 6 adults and one kid. It was about 10 minutes to the venue and the views of the drive were beautiful! The house had everything you could need! Beth was an amazing host! We had one small mishap and she immediately had a solution and the problem was solved in a few hours! Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We loved our stay here! The property was very clean and well stocked. The property owner was very easy to reach and work with. She responded quickly to questions.
