This inviting lower-level home has a separate entrance from the upstairs house and is located on a quiet dead-end street.
It has 3 bedrooms with comfy queen beds. The first bedroom has an extra sitting area, the second bedroom has a full-size futon for extra sitting or sleeping, and the third bedroom has a desk if you need to work. There are large closets in each bedroom for placing your belongings, a small kitchen with full-size appliances and a washer and dryer.

Summary: This was a great place to stay for our family. We spent our time day tripping into the islands and the house was located super close to the ferry making the trips easy. Great host too!

Summary: The lawn was torn up (just dirt no lawn) and the latch to the yard gate did not work. The bathroom toilet seat was broken. The owner did apologize for the condition fo the yard and gate, but was not aware of the broken toilet seat. I made my reservation 3 months in advance. The yard should not been in that condition. Not much we could do upon our arrival with a group of travelers. Yet, we still made the best of it and enjoyed our time together.

Summary: My husband and a group of friends stayed at Heidi's property before spending time in the San Juans. The space perfectly fit all six of us on the three bedrooms with plenty of space in the main area for people to hang out together, or for some to hang out and play games in the living room while others had quiet time for reading in the sitting area. We visited the farmers market and art festival in downtown which was a short drive away and kept us busy for hours. Heidi's was close to water access so friends has an easy time taking out personal kayaks and saw tons of deals and a sea lion! The property was perfectly located close to Washington Park and the ferry terminal which made for a stress free morning getting to the ferry for the next leg of our trip. Would definitely recommend for an Anacortes stay and as a launching point for the San Juans!

Summary: Had a great time at Heidi's place in Anacortes. Was perfect for myself and 4 other adults. The home was close to the ferry, the beach, and had a great fire pit. Would recommend staying here!

Summary: This property was a fantastic place to spend our road trip vacation. We were very comfortable with our two kiddos and our two dogs. The fenced in yard was wonderful for kids and dogs, but the gate does settle so doesn't latch well; this was no problem, as we propped up a brick to keep it closed. The three bedrooms were very cute, the dining area was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed, even if it was on the smaller side. Otherwise very spacious, clean, comfortable and fun. Heidi was a wonderful host! Thanks for the bottle of Washington wine along with some sudokus for us to enjoy!

Summary: Recommend, recommend, recommend! We had a great family vacation! Plenty of space in the condo! The first thing that strikes you is how clean this place is. It is decorated with taste. Heidi thought of all the details to make her guests feel comfortable. There are books and board games for family to enjoy. Skewers to roast marshmallows. It even has a first aid kit (which we ended up needing). The beds were very comfortable. Heidi also is a good communicator. She answered any questions we had. I hope future guests treat this place with respect as it is a wonderful condo to stay. We truly enjoyed this home away from home.

Summary: This house was perfectly located and really perfect for our short family vacation. Heidi, the owner, was so lovely and friendly and even helped us with our dogs when we had a ferry issue and we’re gone longer than we intended. Very great experience!

Summary: We stayed 4 days at Hiedi's Hideaway. It was absolutely perfect!! Traveling with kids and a dog can be challenging but this place was wonderful. It hit all the spots for us. Very clean!!! Quiet! We had a great time!!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Heidi's place. There was plenty of room for 4 adults (one couple and 2 18-year olds) plus our two dogs. We took advantage of the wifi and Netflix and found the kitchen (although small) to be just right for our needs since we mostly ate out but had the option to eat in if we wanted. Heidi provided info on the area, pup treats and supplies, as well as a nice welcome gift. I would definitely recommend this as a great option if you are looking for a pet friendly place in Anacortes (it would be a good option if you don't have pets too).
