Characterful Pembrokeshire detached 4 bedroom farmhouse p surrounded by 30 acres of rural Welsh countryside. Sleeps up to 10 guests, with 3 modern bathrooms and off-road parking for up to 6 cars.

In the summer months we only allow 7 days stays Saturday to Saturday.
This gorgeous West Wales holiday home has lots of character with a wealth of original features such as exposed brick walls, high vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams. The farmhouse combines contemporary comfort and high-end fittings with vintage features such as stone fireplace, oak ledge & brace doors, oak floors and reclaimed & restored cast iron radiators. There is wifi available too.
This property has both a living room and a lounge, therefore ideal for having a separate grown up living space. The lounge has a wood burning stove and 3 sofas, one of which a double sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen is finished to a high standard and perfect for cooking large meals. It is equipped with everything needed, including a separate fridge and freezer, microwave, large range cooker with 2 ovens and dishwasher. The spacious and bright dining room has a large oak dining table sitting up to 12 guests. The bedrooms are decorated in keeping with the character of the property with vintage style fabrics and accessories.
There are two 6-seater picnic tables on the private terrace, perfect for meals in the sunshine.
Targate Farm is a great property for large group holidays or family visits to Pembrokeshire and an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the area, and its fantastic sandy beaches are a mere 20 minutes away. Targate Farm is also perfect for enjoying a quiet, relaxing break or making the most of the walking, horse riding or cycling opportunities offered by the rural surroundings. The area is steeped in history with many well preserved castles. Oakwood Theme Park, Tenby and St David's Cathedral are all within reach along with all the attractions of the Pembrokeshire National Park with stunning coastal walks and views. There is a whole range of activities for all the family within 5 minutes, with a nine hole Golf courses, a driving range, Moor Farm Equestrian Centre and Puddle Dock Fly & Coarse fishing. You can also go zorbing, surfing, paddle boarding, and even charter boats.

Summary: A lovely spacious farmhouse with a great dining area. The beds were comfortable and the lounges very pleasant. Not really suitable for toddlers as some deep steps in kitchen/dining area. No stair gates provided although this had been checked beforehand and confirmed that they were available. No real garden so would not really want to stay in the Summer but was very nice for a Winter break.

Summary: Great stay for a large family, We were a party of 10, grandparents ,children and grandchildren. Plenty of room with two lounges and a vast dining area. Bedrooms were spacious, well furnished. Plenty of crockery but some saucepan lids were missing. The only faults were the need for a good dusting and the kitchen cupboards were a little musty. A great place for a family gathering, with plenty of parking space. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Target Farm with the nearby golfing and farm shop.

Summary: We liked the accommodation internally but the facilities for outdoor living were very poor. For the cost of the rental there should have been some comfortable outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Also, garden scruffy

Summary: Huge house, plenty of room for all of us and two dogs. Not for those with limited mobility, despite having a lovely bedroom on the ground floor: very deep steps (2) on ground floor to kitchen and second living room. No grassed area for dogs on site (but bridle path across the road for walks.) Comfortable house, well situated for beaches and many other activities. We had a lovely break. Thank you Tim for all your help and suggestions.

Summary: Such a lovely house with large rooms and bedrooms that were perfect for our families. The location was great, a quiet little village that’s perfect for exploring the rest of Pembrokeshire. Would definitely recommend staying here! The communication from the hosts was great too, they answered any queries we had before arriving promptly.

Summary: A wonderful property which although very spacious also felt cosy and homely. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and given information about our stay. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Places to visit can be found just a short drive out for people of all ages. (Our family of 10 consisted of 4 generations as well as 2 dogs!!) We visited local beaches as well as travelling into Tenby, walked through woodlands , went fishing and the younger ones enjoyed adventure parks too. I would highly recommend Targate Farm as a base to stay.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and the property suited our family as lots of space. Bedrooms very good size and beds comfy. Property location is good for those looking for a base to explore (by driving) around Pembrokeshire. Only comment was that the kitchen could do with a refurb to make the property spot on.

Summary: We had a brilliant time staying at this house. There is loads of space inside with 2 living rooms which is great for children and the huge dining table is excellent for large family meals. We were about 30 minutes drive from my 2 favourite beaches in Pembrokshire and we were blessed with amazing weather (which was handy as Wales was still coming out of lockdown and so the restaurants and pubs were only allowing people to eat outside). I would definitely be keen to book again.
