Summary: It's a nice property in a great neighborhood. I recommend bringing earplugs and an eye mask for sleeping though. You can hear cars going by and the walls between the units have zero insulation, so we could hear the dog next door walking around on the hardwood, like it was in the same room with is. Also, there aren't room darkening curtains, so the morning light was an issue (but I am very light sensitive).same room

Summary: The duplex is in a nice area with easy access to several St Louis attractions which made it easy to cram several activities into the 3 1/2 days we were in town. The house was nice and clean. Our only (and minor) issue is that it sits off a busy road so we could hear early-morning traffic from the bedroom during the week. The host was very responsive to any questions and was kind enough to let us keep our bikes in the basement.

Summary: This is an older home on a nice, safe street, NW of downtown St. Louis and just 10-15 minutes to lots of great sights/attractions. The house has plenty of amenities and worked very well for us on a long-weekend stay. We appreciated the cleanliness, the kitchen supplies, the comfortable LR furniture and large TV! The property also has laundry facilities in the unfinished basement. It is an older home so has some quirks but also character and personality, which we enjoyed. (Only detractor for the stay was quite a bit of noise from the duplex neighbors, coming and going at late hours, which is a little disconcerting if you’re used to life in a single family dwelling.)

Summary: We loved staying at this home! It was very clean and had a nice kitchen--although we don't use a kitchen much, it is always nice to have a clean one just in case. The bath was great too! We loved the original finishes. The best part was that it is right around the corner from my 91-year-old dad's house. So, we didn't have to stress him out by staying with him! And it is also walkable to St Francis park which is an added bonus! We will definitely stay here again.
