“The Lodge” is a rustic retreat with open floor plan and natural light. Located between Austin and Bastrop with easy access to multiple nature experiences, Wolf Dancer golf course, COTA, and The Cedar Bend. Fully equipped kitchen and outside Blackstone for grilling makes meals easy and enjoyable. A large common area with a wood burning fireplace and large leather couch is a great place to relax and enjoy each others company. There are plenty of boardgames and even a guitar. Outside has relaxing seating areas, cornhole, washers and a firepit. Enjoy birdwatching through one of the many windows and the local wildlife. The Lodge is the perfect location if you're attending an event at The Cedar Bend or the wedding party that is wishing for time together.
The Lodge has central HVAC, large limestone wood fireplace, 50" Smart TV, wireless internet, dishwasher, electric range, microwave, standard coffee maker (coffee provided), K-Cup coffee maker. Summary: It was great for our family to stay in the house, as it was so close to the wedding venue at Lost Pines Resort. Also our 96 year old Mother was very comfortable in the lower bedroom where she could control her own AC. We had a ball playing darts outside and games inside at night. Great place to stay as a family.

Summary: From the time of booking till we left, the owner was always available. They also put a lot of time and effort into ensuring guests are comfortable and feel like it is a home away from home. The kids enjoyed the outdoors as well as the adults, who spent time playing darts and corn hole. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was set perfectly to accommodate families.
