Positive: I am an apprehensive traveler and like to know the area I'm going to as much as possible before arriving. Jonas was the most helpful host I've encountered and gave some local suggestions so that we weren't solely doing "touristy" bits. Lovely apartment, perfect for a stay. Lots of natural light and good water pressure and temperature in the shower (I've stayed in ice cold situations!!) Getting there from JFK is a bit of a mission on public transport so definitely factor in an Uber ride if arriving at that airport. Would definitely stay again if we come back.

Positive: the beds were comfortable, kitchen was in good condition and was renovated. Host responded very quickly. Easy to find and get an access.
Negative: Unit need to be renovated, everything except kitchen is very old. Also we didn't know that we should share unit with someone else, sometime it was too noisy. Also not enough blankets for 4 people (only 2 blankets)

Positive: The unit was much larger than expected. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the host was extremely accommodating The location was perfect! It was a quiet area just 10 min from downtown I highly recommend for out of town guests

Positive: Good to visit New York and nice that it is possible to park the car. We did use spothero to park for a good price in Brooklyn and then take the subway into Manhattan but you need to get through Manhattan by car. We also used the NJ lightrail (nearby) to Hoboken then take the PATH and then the subway. So it does take some time to get into New York.
