Summary: The property was clean and fully equipped. It was in a safe location with a nearby park including basketball courts for our teens. Prior to our stay, the owner was prompt with answering our questions and again made contact with us upon our arrival to be sure we were content. Easy access to the fenced in yard was ideal for our pups. Thank you!

Summary: We booked this lovely house almost a year in advance, and we were not disappointed! The house is clean and beautiful- my family loved it and would like to stay here again. The communication was excellent - Suzanne is a gracious and thoughtful host. A+++ experience overall.

Summary: Everything was exactly as represented and very clean (I am picky and this was clean!) my kids had a great time playing in the basement and with some of the many board games. The fireplace was excellent for this warm-weather based family to keep from freezing in the snowy cold snap. Thank you!

Summary: I have stayed in many VRBO and I would say this is probably the most accommodating owner I've experienced. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay and even brought in a card table and chairs to accommodate my elderly parents. She also checked in during the week to make sure we didn't need anything. Everything in house is quality from the sheets to towels and furniture. Little touches throughout such as chips, water and wine provided to personal items often forgotten such as Q-tips and new toothbrushes. House is wonderful and exactly as pictured, but owner makes it better than 5 stars

Summary: We stayed here for 9 nights and it was a great central location for us to visit friends and family in the area. We moved from Iowa last year and wanted to come for an extended stay with our Jack Russell Libby. The fenced in back yard was perfect for her. The back could use a small deck or larger patio with some shade. The wooden steps outside the slider were a bit steep. We still sat in the back yard on nice evenings and the weather was perfect. The bedrooms are large and the walk in closet in the master was great! The kitchen was stocked with a lot of the items we would need for our stay so that helped us get up and running quickly. Overall it worked well for us!

Summary: We had a great time staying here- the house was very clean, the fenced in yard was great for the kids and our dogs, everything we needed for a great stay was included at the house (including LOTS of board/card games), and the beds were very comfy. Highly recommend!

Summary: This is the best vacation rental experience I’ve had. The host was welcoming and made extra touches that made us feel better than at home. We (2 mom & daughters and a bonus dad) traveled to Des Moines for a week of National gymnastics competition. The host had Gatorade & snacks for the girls and everyone had space to relax. Every possible amenity was thought of - down to Saran Wrap in the kitchen that helped us ice wrap an injured foot. The house is immaculately clean and you can tell the property owner cares. The beds and linens are what I want at home. The location is away from the city in a quiet neighborhood, but only 20 minutes from downtown, 10ish min from the mall area with good dining options, and 5 minutes from “Home Sweet Cones” the best local ice cream shop! Overall it was a perfect home away from home.

Summary: We stayed at this property with our Golden Retriever, and we all loved it. This is a very nice house for a family and furry friends to stay in - immaculately clean, cool tile throughout the main level, comfort beds, and a nice fenced in yard for your dog! Highly recommend!

Summary: We were in West Des Moines for a family event and stayed at this wonderful home for 4 nights. The home was very well equipped and the location was so convenient to shopping and driving in the area. The neighborhood was very quiet and across the street was a great park where the kids spent lots of time. We would definitely return.
