This gorgeous and meticulously maintained lakefront property features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and is situated on a private sand beach. There is also a bunkhouse in the converted garage that sleeps 4. The open concept, vaulted livingroom/kitchen creates a wonderful atmosphere for entertaining family and friends. Other features include a working fireplace, grill, beachfront fire pit and kayak.
The house is less than 10 miles from historic Ellisburg, Henderson Harbor and fishing destination, Sandy Creek. The surrounding areas are primarily farm land and are ideal for biking, long walks and runs along seemingly endless corn lined country roads. The private homes in this area are along a 2 mile stretch of sand beach sandwiched between two state parks complete with nature preserves and paths for exploring.
This is primarily a family home as opposed to a rental and we hope that all the personal touches from gardening to decorating make you and your family feel at home for an unforgettable vacation.

Summary: The setting of this house was wonderful. The sun sets right in front of the cottage and the sights were magnificent. Being so close to the water and being able to hear the waves was a bonus. The decor was lovely and the sofas and beds comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to keep clean. We had a very enjoyable stay thanks to these friendly and helpful owners.

Summary: This property is gorgeous. The quiet, private neighborhood is perfect for families and great bike rides. The house is well appointed with everything you need all ready and waiting for you- beds, towels, blankets, beach gear and toys. The sand beach and sand bar in the lake is perfection, especially for young children. We ended each night sitting around a beach fire watching the picturesque sunsets. And Ellen, the owner, was so inviting. We felt welcomed into her home. She also was very prompt with any questions we had. I’ve rented other VRBO properties and this was one of the best experiences I’ve encountered. Thank you so very much Ellen for sharing your home with our family.
