Positive: The property was CLEAN and very roomy. An updated house with so much character. The price was comparable to one hotel room, and offered my teen kids each their own bedroom (as well as their parents!) We loved and appreciated the beautiful kitchen, with thoughtful amenities. And the dining room space was perfect to entertain and create forever memories with my sister and her family, who live in a nearby suburb. We enjoyed being in the city of Richmond, close to great restaurants and shopping. My husband truly appreciated the office space, where he was able to take a few business calls without interrupting the family getaway.
Negative: The neighborhood is still up-and-coming, so we didn’t really have walkable options for food and entertainment. But I suspect this will change quickly, as many homes and other buildings in the area are being renovated, and we saw signs for restaurants that will be coming soon.
Summary: Beautiful, welcoming, roomy-yet-cozy and completely charming home.
