Summary: We spent two weeks in Lauralee's house in Herring Cove. The moment we entered we were stunned with most beautiful views of the Halifax bay from every window and balcony. The house is situated on a private hill top in Herring Cove, south of Halifax. The property was extra clean, very nicely decorated and well supplied with all necessities. We particularly liked the high ceiling in the upper bedroom, large windows and plenty of light. It was very pleasant to wake up with views of sparkling ocean, or to watch twinkling city lights reflected in the water at night. Lauralee was a gracious host, promptly answering our questions, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Summary: We spent a wonderful two weeks in Lauralee's house in Herring Cove, south of Halifax. The first impression as we entered were beautiful ocean views from large windows and balconies. The house is spacious, full of light, nicely decorated on the hilltop in a peaceful neighborhood. The Sobeys grocery and gas station is 10 min away. All Halifax attractions are 20 min away. The house was clean, very well supplied with all necessities, nicely decorated. Lauralee was a gracious host, promptly responding and very accommodating. Overall, a very pleasant experience and highly recommended!

Summary: Well appointed. Very comfortable, with plenty of space. Kitchen fully stocked. Quiet. Lauralee was a great host! Quickly responded to all questions in booking and preparation for arrival. Would definitely re-book on a return visit.

Summary: Spacious and well appointed. Stocked with ample supplies. It was so nice to have two king beds. A lot of other properties don't understand the need for king beds.

Summary: The home was beautiful and spacious, fully stocked with all essentials and clean, clean, clean! It does only have to beds for such a big home, but those two king beds were a wonderful cozy place to lay your head down after a long day exploring the areas all around Nova Scotia or after a glass or two off one of the five balconies most with beautiful/spectacular views of the sea. There's plenty of spots inside the home to have meals, play games, watch tv or movies on Netflix and plenty of sitting areas outside to enjoy coffees in the morning or wine and beer at the end of the day. Kitchen was fully stocked, even had a Kureig and coffee pot system. No where really to walk/run from the house, the main road can be very busy and no sidewalks, you'd have to be very careful if that was something you'd want to do. But they did provide some free weights and a yoga mat upstairs, if you're looking to do some workouts while on vacation 😉 there are several provincial parks and trails around the area, within driving distance. We were lucky to have a families car with us, we normally had to drive 30-60 minutes to get to the more popular areas to site see. Which was ok for us. Driving to destinations is part of the tip, stopping and seeing places along the route. This would only be a hindrance if you needed or wanted to be in a more central location. We would stay here again and would recommend this place to friends/family.
