Enjoy an unmatched view of the ocean from the large deck of this newly renovated & charming Florida beach home. Step right down from the deck above the dunes to plant your chair on the pristine, quiet, NO DRIVING , private end of New Smyrna Beach/Bethune Beach, or stroll along Canaveral National Seashore. Watch the sun rise under a deep covered porch, and after a day of fun, sit on the large deep covered balcony on the west side to soak in a sunset over the lagoon. New owners have lovingly, thoughtfully and thoroughly renovated this cottage as our 2nd home to create a clean, bright and relaxing retreat. WE don't rent it regularly, as it is our family retreat. But, we love to rent to discerning travelers who will treat it like a home, not a rental, and appreciate an upgraded and comfortable vacation at the beach.The details are well edited to maximize comfort and cleanliness, increase ease of access to the internet & cable if you need to work, as well as unplug and let the ocean work its magic!
All new hardwood floors upstairs and newly polished concrete floors on ground level, give the home a fresh, modern and clean feel.
Modern curved interior stairwell connects the 2 levels of the home. Enjoy wireless internet & 5 flat screen tv's! Kitchen totally renovated in fresh and modern way. New cabinets,stone countertops, appliances..nothing held back! New modern and comfortable furnishings throughout. All new luxury mattresses and luxury bed linens. Utility room downstairs has new high efficiency washer dryer, deep sink and modern cabinetry. Cozy den downstairs has new west elm plush sofa and flatscreen tv.
Venture out to paddleboard, kayak or surf, swim with manatees , fish on the ocean or river, bike on the beach.
Outdoor spaces include large open deck, deep covered porch with table and chairs for an outdoor meal. Private flagstone walkway leads to another outdoor table with umbrella for a fun lunch spot. Deep covered balcony, off master and guest bedrooms, faces west to enjoy gentle breeze from the lagoon side. In town, enjoy new restaurants and a charming downtown shopping district. Farmer's markets on weekends. We love this piece of Florida paradise!

Summary: We loved our stay at the property. I have never been on a property closer to the ocean and I have stayed at many ocean front homes. The home itself was very well thought out as it felt very spacious for the small footprint. The lighting in particular was expertly executed so that all areas could be lit appropriately. The kitchen was well appointed with top end everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily walks on the beach - often not encountering another human, but we saw dolphins almost daily. Enjoyed watching the fishing boats in the distance. Loved the many venues for fresh sea food including JBs Fish Camp that was an easy walk. The owner was extremely helpful and cordial. If you are looking to relax and unplug there is no place better. I have been staying at VRBO homes for the last 15 yrs. I have generally been very satisfied but rarely impressed. This home impressed me. I would highly recommend.

Summary: House was clean, fully updated, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Perfect for our family of five (me, hubby and 3 kids). It's only a few steps from the house to the ocean. Great views and a wonderful ocean deck. We loved our stay!

Summary: Beautiful, fresh and updated house with everything you could possibly need. Beach is steps away from the house and makes it easy to go back to the house for a drink or bathroom break. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Quiet end of beach makes you feel like you have your own private beach. Mosquitos are the only negative about this area. We loved this house and it felt like a high end resort. Plush towels and bedding, and top quality pots and pans. Everything is organized in the house and helpful notes are left by the homeowner. Wonderful week spent with our adult daughters. Hope to return again!

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful week. After a seamless check-in process, we entered the clean and beautiful home. Everything was very well-stocked (all the kitchen appliances and utensils you could dream of), washer & dryer, and fast internet connection. The decor matched the relaxing beach atmosphere, making even rainy days feel sunny inside. The deck out back Is perfect for beautiful sunrises and chill time. Our kids enjoyed the stand-up paddle boards in both the ocean and the lagoon across the street, and we all loved having access to the four cruiser bikes. The home is well-situated near a beautiful national park (perfect for biking), miles of wide, empty beach, public tennis courts, great restaurants (JB’s Fish Camp, SoNapa, Norwood’s, etc.), and grocery stores. We recommend this home to any family or group of friends looking for a quiet piece of oceanfront paradise. Grab some groceries, and you’re set for the week! We can’t recommend this house highly enough and hope to return.

Summary: I stayed here with a few friends to celebrate a recent graduation from graduate school and it was an absolutely beautiful home. Upon waking up you are literally steps away from the ocean and the large back windows make for an excellent opportunity to see the morning sunrise. The recent renovations to the home are impressive and make for a very comfortable and luxurious stay. An added plus is that the home is close to the national seashore where the island is much more quiet, but still a short walk to a local restaurant and watering hole - JB's. You can even book kayak or paddle boarding trips out of JB's too if you are feeling adventuresome. I would undoubtedly recommend the home to any beach goers looking for a relaxing vacation on the beautiful Florida coast.

Summary: The house is absolutely stunning inside and the deck outside is wonderful for grilling or taking in some sun. The view of the ocean is spectacular as well and it's hard to beat the location, as it offers low traffic from others and a very relaxing feel for the duration of the stay.

Summary: I stayed there with a few friends at the beginning of the summer and had a great time. The house was extremely clean and located in a great spot. The new modern renovations really added a touch of luxury to the whole experience. While there was a lot to do in and around New Smyrna, we had trouble exploring because of how much we enjoyed staying at the house. When we didn’t fee like cooking, we would walk to JB’s Restaurant just down the street (a local restaurant that was always vibrant and had great food). The back porch is hard to beat. I definitely plan on returning.

Summary: This home was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The ocean view spectacular. We enjoyed hearing the ocean and watching the sunrise. The deck was wonderful. Very large and the ocean was stair steps away, so close sometimes it felt like you were on the deck of a boat when the tide was up. The beach just steps away and not much foot traffic, so it felt very private. We loved it
