3 Bedroom House in Dent

Our family getaway made available and affordable for your family and friends. This 3 bedroom retreat is located on a quiet, wooded, level lot with immediate access to the lake. Enjoy spectacular sunrises with morning coffee on the lakeside deck or by sitting on a bench by the water. Swim in the hard sand bottom lake or cruise around in the 2 kayaks provided. Bring a boat for fishing or water sports. The public boat landing is only a couple miles away. Grill outdoors in the charcoal or gas grill provided. Several picnic tables are also available for use. A fire in the fire ring by the lake is a perfect way to end a quiet peaceful evening.
The homes open floor plan provides views of the lake even while indoors. The living room contains a television with DVD player and family friendly DVD's. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots, pans and glassware. Each of the 3 bedrooms contains a queen size bed with linens provided. The bathroom contains a full size tub and shower and comes with towels and toilet paper. There is also a washer/dryer located in the bathroom.

Summary: We were very happy with our stay here! Kids LOVED the paddle boat and used it to go fishing..worked out great! Kayaks were awesome to get out and see the lake and catch some fish. Caught a variety and the cleaning house was perfect for us to take home our bounty! House was very clean and it was great having on-site laundry for our family of 5! The ONLY downfall of our stay was there was a big, heavy rainstorm where we went to a nearby town to do some bowling to pass some time, when we came back there was a slight leak in the roof in the kitchen..nothing major, but would like the owners to be aware of it. Thanks for the great stay and if we are in the area again, we will most definitely come back!

Summary: Used this place for a fishing trip with my Dad and friend. Place was big enough for a 21ft boat, had plenty of plug-ins to plug in boat. The outside looks rough but the inside is very nice. You can tell he takes care of it. Place is very spacious, and he has many other things for you to do such as kayaks/canoes/ etc. Also has a dock. Would highly recommend for anybody not willing to spend a lot of money for a “newer” VRBO. Only complaints are 1) it is on gravel but that isn’t too big of a deal, 2) no WiFi, and 3) we could not find a trash bin to use inside the house, but we may have just been blind.

Summary: We had a great time. The kayaks, paddle boat, and swimming dock were well used. Fishing was great! The house was very clean inside. The property was spacious and there were lots of picnic tables, hammocks and chairs to use. I wasn’t able to locate the life jackets so either check with the host or bring your own.

Summary: This getaway was perfect. Great shallow swimming beach. The paddle boat was awesome. Fishing was good. The swings were a huge bonus and got a lot of use. The cabin was clean, cozy and had absolutely everything! We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We really enjoyed our time here and lucked out with some warmer late fall weather. The lake is beautiful (pretty shallow too) and was great for kayaking with the kids. No fish (water too cold this time of as everything has gone deeper), but still a great time. The cabin layout is fine- even with 4 kids under 12 we had enough room. It's nothing fancy- but exactly what you should expect for the price. We'd love to come back in the summer when the water is warmer and there are more fish to catch!
