3 Bedroom House in Holderness

Newly built home with wifi, lots of privacy, bright with lots of windows, a great new deck with built in fire pit, bedrooms with built in bunk beds in each room in addition to queen beds, and a nice open floor plan. Wood stove inside and built in fire pit on the deck where we have spent many nights roasting marshmallows w friends and family! The house is less than a 5 minute walk to a private beach on little Squam for members of the association. Fully furnished and includes sheets/towels/kitchenware/BBQ/laundry!. This is a beautiful association. House is surrounded by trees with lots of privacy. My father in law was the contractor and built the home 5 years ago. The beach area is sandy and has a large field to sit and for kids to play. There is also a basketball net in front of the water and horse shoes. The water is crystal clear and calm. You can rent a boat at one of the marina's within a 10 minute drive. 2 Kayaks and 1 paddle board available for use! This house rental is intended is for 4 adults and their kids.

Summary: Exceptional rental for families. Selecting rentals online is always a bit of a gamble because “lake access” sometimes means crossing a highway. Not so here. Easy access to a wonderful lakeside beach. The house itself is very kid friendly.

Summary: Pete and Maria's property is wonderful. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the lake, where there is a huge field, picnic tables, small beach, shared kids toys, plenty of usable space in the water (including a floating dock the kids loved to jump off), paddle boards, kayaks, very nice basketball court, and more. There is plenty of parking at the lake if you decide to drive down. The house has life jackets for all ages and sizes. The house is big, with a huge open area on the main floor. They provide almost everything and there were plenty of pots, pans, bowls, etc... There are plenty of kids cups, utensils, and plates/bowls as well. The fire pit was available and perfect for smores with the kids. The grill is usable and cooked pretty evenly. The only downside is the driveway is steep and the area consists of VERY hilly roads, some of which are private and not maintained very well. Do not take Perkins Lane from Rt 3, go the long way and use Lane Rd. We would love the opportunity to use their house again.

Summary: This is an excellent property in a private, tree-filled complex with access to a private beach. 10 minutes from town where you can get excellent food, rent boats, hike trails, etc. Peter and Maria were friendly and helpful hosts. We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun filled vacation.

Summary: I had the pleasure of spending a week at this home with my family and it was perfect for our family vacation! The house was beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you need to feel at home. There were ten of us including a two-year-old and 6-month-old and the spaciousness of the home was ideal for all of us. The lake was only a few minutes away from the home and was very easy to get to. Unfortunately, it rained the entire week so we couldn’t enjoy the lake as much as we wanted to! We were able to get to the lake a few times, even in the rain, and enjoyed the use of the kayak and paddleboard. My grandson enjoyed running around the big open field and we also enjoyed playing horseshoes. I can’t say enough about Maria and Peter, they were very accommodating and extremely helpful, they responded quickly and efficiently to all of our inquiries. In spite of the horrible weather, we made the best of it and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely rent this home again and would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a vacation getaway on the water, you will not be disappointed!!

Summary: As advertised. Comfortable rooms and all the goodies that go with a well equipped lake house. Four minute walk to the lake. We had two kids, 4 and 7, who could not get enough of the sand beach and lake. Their parents and grandparents (us) also had a wonderful experience. Plenty to do in the surrounding area. Can't go wrong with this home.
