Summary: What a fabulous hotel! Extremely clean with beautiful soft white towels/robes! Lovely tea/coffee/biscuits with fresh milk and cans of still/sparkling water found in the fridge. Our bed was so comfortable although the slats were squeaky during the night… however this didn’t stop us from having a great night’s sleep. Pool/spa area is beautiful and very clean. My only comment is that the pool water was slightly chilly but it didn’t stop us chilling and relaxing for the afternoon. Staff were all very friendly, welcoming and smiling. Food was plentiful and fabulous. Definitely worth a visit! Thank you for our little treats to celebrate our wedding anniversary 💕💕

Summary: We booked a king room which was a good sized room on the ground floor as requested. It had a large king bed and was bright and immaculately clean. There is a fridge with supplied still and sparkling water and milk plus teas and coffee. The spa and pool facilities are first class and the restaurant is good quality with the emphasis on healthily well cooked and prepared food. The staff were all so helpful , friendly and well presented. Excellent staff, would go again.

Summary: Both the hydro pool and outdoor pool were closed and the seaside restaurant also closed early so limited choice of evening food. We have been visiting for years but I find maintenance and upkeep of the hotel is not good - rooms disappointing and tatty. Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent as always! We made a decision not to return.

Summary: We enjoyed the indoor & outdoor pool and breakfast was excellent. The room was a good size with everything required for a pleasant stay. We didn’t dine here in the evening as the restaurant was fully booked but the menu wasn’t very good so we were happy to eat at The Cracking Crab in Polzeath. We found check in & check out times a little inconvenient for a hotel-room wasn’t ready until 4pm and checkout at 10am meant breakfast was rushed. Parking was tricky as the hotel was busy, EV chargers weren’t working and the shuttle bus was not available so we had to drive to Polzeath. Overall a pleasant stay but not quite perfect for the cost.
