Summary: We arrived to meet the owner Isobelle at the property. She showed us around and was very helpful. Only problem was we were unable to contact her on our mobiles prior to arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and also the town of St Valery, we will be back. Thank you.

Summary: Thank you, Isabelle, for our comfortable stay. We enjoyed our week in Saint Valery, and were pleased to have found your house so conveniently situated for both the town and the shops. As we enjoy cooking, we thought a few more kitchen items would have been good (such as lids that fitted the saucepans!, and perhaps a dish or two for the oven) but otherwise we were very happy. Summary: Isabelle Thomen, the owner, met us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming (she had even bought us a delicious cake as a greeting gift). Isabelle has prepared an excellent booklet in French, English and German which is full of information on Saint Valery and the surrounding area to assist you planning days out. Although we did not need to contact Isabelle during our stay until the day of departure Isabelle assured us that if we had any problems she was on hand to assist. The property was exceptionally clean and well equipped with all the required kitchen utensils and crockery etc. Isabelle had provided an electric fan because of the heat. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is equipped with a modern walk in shower. The garden is lovely and a great place to sit and eat al fresco with 2 separate patio areas and a covered seating area should the weather be wet. We really enjoyed this property. Our holiday was very relaxing. Saint Valery is a beautiful town with great views over the Baie de Somme, a steam train line, medieval flower-filled streets and a great riverside promenade. There is easy access by road to a number of other pretty and interesting towns/attractions such as Abbeville, Le Crotoy, Mers-les-Bains and Parc Marquenterre.

Summary: It was a beautiful experience to stay for a week in this very complete house and garden. It lies in a quiet area not more than a mile from the lively centre of St. Valery sur Mer. A nice environment for walking and cycling.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying in this delightful house. The lounge & dinning room area with large window & patio doors give it a wonderful bright & cheerful ambience. Two good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, a large bathroom with great double shower and a good kitchen. The large garden has two patio areas and good off road parking. St Valery is a picturesque town with plenty to see and do close by- 5 minute easy walk to the marine/port. We enjoyed several cycling routes around this pretty area of France. Isabelle the owner could not have been more pleasant & helpful. We will definitely return soon.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in this cosy well appointed house. The decor is simple but well coordinated giving the whole house a very welcoming feel. The house is well equipped with everything you could need with some nice touches like the unusual lamps and paintings done by Isabelle. The whole house is immaculately clean and the garden is lovely with 2 patios to catch the sun at all times. We had a lovely welcome from Isabelle who was very helpful when we had to change our arrival arrangements due to car problems. The location is superb, on a residential street with private secure parking for 2 cars and a 5 minute walk to the river and the beautiful town of St Valery. I can thoroughly recommend this cottage and hope to return there one day.

Summary: We have spent the first week of august in this lovely little house. The house was very comfortable with everything you need and most of All very clean it also has a well maintained big garden with everything in it like table chairs on the two terraces and a barbecue and a little play area for small children's, it also benefit the private parking . The house is well place in a quiet road but weaving walking distance to the town centre and restaurants. They are plenty of lovely walks to do in this lovely little medical fishing port. The owners Isabelle and Marie were very friendly and accommodating a big thank you to them both for they warm welcome. We hope to return to St Valery sur Somme in the near future and book this house again.
