Positive: The Stables property was very private, with no adjoining or nearby cottages. All the facilities were provided to allow an enjoyable and offline stay. The open fire was great and if not in use the building had easily controlled central heating.
Negative: The mattress, although comfortable enough, could've been a little better and in the bedroom there is limited storage and non to hang clothes(we managed but had to use the store cupboard hooks.)
Summary: Quiet and private getaway in a beautiful location.

Positive: Beautiful location. This was our 3rd time at the house. The housekeeper, Margaret, was a superstar. The cottage was warm and comfortable and we had an exceptional time.
Summary: Can't wait to go back. Hoped we would get snowed in.

Positive: The house is amazing. The location is perfect for walks. We walked up and around the reservoir which was beautiful. It's our second time at the cottage this year. We love it.
