The Stables at Westfield is a beautiful barn conversion with exposed roof trusses, stone walls and wood burning stove. The property offers outstanding holiday accommodation for two guests looking for a touch of luxury in a lovely seaside location. Interiors are spacious with open plan living, perfect for a romantic coastal escape at any time of year… the underfloor heating keeps the property cosy whatever the season.
This spacious cottage has a wonderful courtyard and garden with uninterrupted sea views towards the Farne Islands. It’s just a short walk into the village of Seahouses for local shops, pubs and cafes and the beach is within easy reach too… about a mile away.
The Stables is a great base for exploring this beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.

Summary: An excellent stay in an excellent location everything you could ask for. Bliss to come back to ,warm and comfortable ,when cold and windy outside. So much to do and see in the area. Saw Thousands of puffins on the boat trip to the Farne Islands. Very good holiday.

Summary: This was our first stay at the stables and we both loved it. Excellent 5 star accomodation just a mile from the best stretch of beach in Northumberland . Tastefully decorated throughout with everything you need catered for. We are coming back in October.

Summary: We had e very enjoyable stay in a warm,cosy and comfortable property.. absolutely everything we needed was provided. Clean, inviting and just as the website described/showed. We can really recommend this property as great attention has been paid to the planning and execution of fitting out the property,all the details were as expected. A very pleasant surprise awaited us when we opened the fridge door....? You can find out for yourselves.
