Positive: Perfect location for hilll walking. Comfy beds and a warm shower. The host was helpful.

Negative: We felt that, on the pictures, the accommodation is made to look more luxury than it really is. It's a traditional Scottish buildings and has been done up with new carpets, wall covering, and furniture. It hasn't been completely stripped, and therfore it'll always have the traditional building's quirks like old electrics, a room off a room, uneven floors etc (we understand this, as we have renovated a 200yr old farmhouse before). Also we weren't overly keen on the coverless duvets, and prefer the feel of cotton. We all slept well though. It's comfortable and a good location for hill walking, with the Munro's around Ullapool, and Achnasheen in easy reach. The beds are comfy and the showers warm. More clothes dryers and a shoe rack would be welcome (a drying room would be perfect), and off course midge nets in front of the windows (the lady said they wouldn't work, we've stayed (and camped) in that area before many times so think we understand midges ).
