Positive: Liked the cleanliness & the upgrades the owner has made to the property as well as its grounds. Very comfortable & pleasant for the most part. Also the decor was mid century modern, with nice furnishings. Creative art work was painted directly onto the wall over the bed.
Negative: Would have rated our stay higher except for 2 things. 1) There was lack of sound proofing between units. We easily heard the TV’s & the talking of our neighbors on either side late into the night and early in the morning. They weren’t partying or being roudy this was normal on their end but disturbing on our side. 2) The other thing was that there was only 1 chair to sit on. The bed altho very comfortable for sleeping was too high for me to sit on if my husband was sitting in the one chair. Unfortunately the jacuzzi took up the space in the room which could have accommodated a small table & chairs. We never used the jacuzzi.
Summary: The Starlite was generally a comfortable motel in a pleasant setting.
