Positive: Great staff, nice food, ideal location. There was no onsite parking, but there is a public car park only a short walk away, at the other side of the athletics track. There are some spaces there which are free to use, but you need to be careful - only those with white lines around them are free all day.
Negative: There was a bit of traffic noise from the road below at times overnight. No wifi password was provided in the rooms, although we didn't specifically ask about that - so this may have been available.
Summary: A nice hotel in an ideal location, would use again

Positive: It’s in a nice location and the people are lovely. No parking on site but free 24h car park 300m away (park in white lined bay) Newcastle centre 20 mins drive away.
Negative: The 3am wake up call to an argument outside my window between two drug addicts but the venue can’t help that. Room was small but again okay for me to just sleep in.
Summary: Nice stay in a nice town close to Newcastle and Hardrians Wall

Positive: Fantastic location, short walk from the town centre. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was really nice. Served purpose for what we needed. Parking is best in the Wentworth Car Park, right at the back on the Chisholm Place turn in. Those bays are ideal.
Negative: Nothing, all good.
